Yeah I love Mateo batting 9 cause every time he gets on (which is way more often lately) it’s just the most dangerous combo. Imagine being a pitcher trying to keep Mateo from stealing while also trying to not give up a bomb to Gunnar

We were literally trying to lose this game last night and that’s how you know you’re going good, despite all the mistakes and lackadaisical play, we simply hit when we have to and pitch when we have to and we scratch out W’s. Every odds maker and betting organization has us picked to lose today and all the stats say Cole Irvin should get lit up and Lopez should be lights out, but betting against this team would be a huge mistake right now, the baseball Gods are with this team because they do it all the right way.

Man,they’ve been killing the Royals and they’re supposed to be one of the better teams! 😳 I was thinking last night, if it wasn’t for the six game-winning streak, the Orioles could easily be six or seven games out of first! I hate saying, because it’s only June but I’m gonna say it…that is a huge series next week! Like old times back in the late 70’s early 80’s or even the middle 90’s! I just read an article about a bunch of other Orioles down in the minors, killing it. The Orioles(I think) still need to go out and get another pitcher that could start but more for middle innings to closer, if needed esp to eat up innings! An old saying, I used to hear growing up following the Orioles.. “You can never have enough good pitching!” And I’m sure that still said today lol we have more than enough trade bait to do it! No matter what happens in that series, it is only June.. I mean look at the nationals what they did when they won the World Series, Basically out of it with a couple months left in the season…But killed it the last month and a half or so? But let’s hope that doesn’t happen to the Orioles where they have to play catch-up like they did?! But I still think this is a huge series next week! Oh! & let’s not forget the next series that’s coming up,against the best team in baseball?! 😳 Go O’s!

No he didn’t, as soon as the lead is given up he is no longer the pitcher of record. The most annoying part is Akin gets the win and he was the one who blew game for Povich.
