As much as I agree with staying away from marriage and kids, now that I'm a geezer, I really wish I'd taken that risk even if it meant being burned. Life as an old man without kids is extremely hollow. Who cares if you write a book or travel the world? As soon as you're dead, all that means nothing. Even if you write a really good book, you're dead and that book slowly fades into obscurity. Kids.... that's the real legacy. The kids are the ones who will be telling your story to others, good or bad. The kids are the ones who inherit all that you've built up and continue the legacy that all of your ancestors worked so hard to build.

The fascination (initially) with those podcasts is how familiar the typical responses given are to most men. The sense of deja vu is overpowering at first, and it really does help a lot of guys understand how women think a lot better. Yeah it's click bait-y content that involves getting less than brilliant guests drunk and asking them formulaic questions, but it has its value none the less.

I doubt the podcast gets them drunk since it is annoying and makes for horrible audio experience for the listeners no different than with Fresh And Fit. That's just how women talk now with the eternal vocal fry and braindead/1000 cock stares. Some might get buzzed from weed. I think a couple of them have shown up too stoned and Brian had them removed or never back again, i don't recall. But it is a liability so I doubt he wants to go thru that hassle and then be blamed that he gets them liquored up and give ammo to anyone that hates on male content.

Unless you do it in a entertaining way, picking relationship dynamics apart in conversation isn't very sexy- thus the marketing/branding being necessary to get it out there.

A good use case for watching those podcasts is for men to familiarize themselves with the double standards, as well as learning to argue in their own favor when they are on the negative side of those double standards. It can help establish boundaries. On the bad side, the dating podcast panels inspires a lot of pessimism, but I suppose a little bit of pessimism is necessary to gain street smarts.

I think those podcasts just show how some women think. And let's be real, a big reason those podcasts are popular is because for years, many men have heard they should "shut up and listen" or how they are shamed for their standards/wants. Now, it's kind of thrown back on some women. But yeah you don't really get much from them. You will get so much more out of Rich and Orion. And Rich living in a dream world, actually spewing the notion that the women on these podcasts are not indicative of the women in the dating pool. They both don’t understand, that all men needed to do was hear women talk, while not also trying to date them. Kevin Samuels, F&F, Pearl and Whatever allows men to hear women’s psychosis and their foolish logic. So that a pattern can be established. To me, this interview was simply embarrassing.

This was a good conversation. But No, it isn’t just “Bimbos”. It is exposing the mindset of modern women on the dating market for men. These are important conversations to have and for the first time men are able to voice their opinions freely also. We’ve had decades of women giving their opinions on relationships and power dynamics. It is absolutely a representation of modern women and their mindsets because the opinions are ubiquitous in the dating market. There are many truths that come out of these conversations. Yes, it is entertainment, but it also has some value that helps men understand women better also. And the longer these women speak, the more they tell on themselves. Kevin Samuels was very good at doing this live with callers and it helped a lot of men and women. The value is that it helps men protect themselves - especially younger men.

First off psyhacks is awesome and insightful. However, his commentary on whatever is a bit off base. Largely because he doesnt really watch it. The value of whatever and fresh and fit is not seeing women get put down. The value actually is when you have watched a couple episodes and you can see there are different kinds of women from the extreme sex worker to the regular college girl to the career woman. Yet they all have the same incorrect answers to the questions. Thats the real value of the show because while the extreme women on the podcast are not the norm. You can quickly see from the variety that do come on that there is no deliniation anymore. Since shaming a woman for bad decision and choices is off the table. Women do not have anyway to partition away the bad women and tell men hey they dont represent us. Because if they did so they would have to accept they are shaming those women for their behavior. So while psyhacks is right they arent the norm. They do share the same beliefs about how they think the world works. Put another way. Not all women are hoes. But the normal women are standing so close to the hoes that it is really hard to tell the difference.

The psychologist's views on marriage are unbelievably destructive. He is shaped by his parent's experience and selfishness. Marriage is for children, period. It has nothing to do with love or anything else. He dismisses the sacrifice men make and gives a pass to women who have forsaken their duties in marriage for selfish pleasures and gains. No discussion of no-fault divorce, which utterly devastates men in divorces. No discussion of how feminism has destroyed the family (i..e, patriarchy). Marriage is not a good deal for men nowadays, but the reason is that women are out of control and the laws have been stacked against men.

About if marriage still works or is still needed - a lot depends upon who you are. For religious people, yes. For non-religious, not unless they want the tax breaks and easier insurance, etc. But gay people worked awfully hard to have the right to marry so it must be serving some type of positive purpose. I remarried quite easily despite being a 42 yr/old single mom of 2 upon my divorce, leaving a marriage of 20 years for good reason that almost anybody in the world would consider to be valid, after many many years of trying to make it work. Then found my new husband almost immediately. He’s exactly my age, has his kids on the weekends, close to your “6666” stated ideal except he’s 5’10”, still super attractive, physically fit cause works out at the gym, full head of black hair, is masculine - hunts, fishes, high quality professional friends (mostly professors, engineers and surgeons); my boys say he’s a Gigachad. His last wife is 8 years younger than me. She gave him a BRUTAL divorce that financially destroyed him. So why’s he willing to marry me and risk it all again? 1) Biggest one - we’re Muslim. No sex before marriage. Ok, but especially as a Muslim man he can find a much younger woman right? And despite his financial setback he still earns 6 figures and has his retirement and will turn out fine. So why me? 2) I have my own money. A million of it. So YES this does matter - even though by our religion my money is mine alone and he has to pay for everything, he knows he could take more from me than I could from him in a divorce. There’s safety for him. And he doesn’t have to worry about me and my retirement etc. 3) I’m a SAHM - sees me as a good mom for his kids. 4) I might be too old for more kids. I can’t baby trap him and then rape him for all I can for the next 18 years. Attention will only go to the kids he has. My kids are fully paid for and they’re honestly really good kids. No problems with them. 5) I’m in my mid-40s now but I’m still attractive. (Yes yes - FOR MY AGE! - and of course I’m not stupid, I know these other points are factors for marrying me, that other single moms don’t have) 6) I cook 7) I’m submissive 8) I don’t have social media 9) I’m a good mom, so he said he’d like to have my kid even if I accidentally did become pregnant 10) He knows my ex’s family and knows about our divorce and how it was amicable and how I tried not to do him wrong and so they all still love me as family. This is more safety for him. 11) I can move location to where he is (he can’t move cause of kids) 12) We have the same interests and I’m not codependent Ok so conclusion - give a man a reason to marry (no sex before marriage, but this has to be a social thing again); give him financial safety; care about his masculine needs and his well-being; take care of yourself; honestly be a good mom, and yes men will commit, even a hot man in his prime to a 40-something divorced single mom. Oh ya, and cut out all the emotional issues. Too many women make everything negative and dramatic. You all aren’t victims. Stop it.

It's so disappointing to see that most of the red pill podcasts have become just another version of sitcoms. Most of these podcasts bring in these low life, worst kind of women out there like OF models, porn actresses, escorts, strippers at a cost; and make some fun with them by trolling them and at the same time trying to educate them why they are bad women. Its like educating a lion on why he should not eat meat. The participant too will undergo any humiliation because, one thing they get paid for it and at the same time they have got used to it well. There are quality women out there, but they are boring. They won't make enough return to the podcast organizers. Instead of these low quality women, they need to bring in women who stood with their men in every hardship of their lives, women who balanced their family lives as well as the professional lives successfully, women who delivered real value to the world etc.

Superb interview that covered a lot of issues for men and by corollary for women. Couldn't help but notice that relationships without marrying, common law, can legally carry the same consequences if cohabitating and that both Rich and Orion are in LTRs but not cohabitating. Unfortunately there have been some cases where even non cohabitating LTRs have been treated like common law relations with dire consequences for some men. This, if it becomes a legal trend will really make prenups mandatory for all LTRs. To its logical extension perhaps even STRs if commitment was on the table at any point, as this used to be the case with the breaking of engagements.

I think a lot of it is just reconnaissance - listening to what women themselves say; it’s probably why women’s channels covering manosphere stuff have exploded in popularity. The issue is, the women that generally come on podcasts as guests aren’t being their authentic selves, or in fact are and are simply an extremist. Fortunately then men can work out how crazy crazy is at the moment, judge if there’s been improvement on a macro scale, and work out which red flags to look for in how women behave. I don’t think it’s about the ‘gotcha moments’ particularly.

Cliché or fact not sure, there's a scene in the film Moneyball where the scouts devalue and question the self-confidence of a player based on his girlfriend's appearance. Could that be the point of the bombshell approach in podcasting? Young men surrounded by beautiful women confers male value between men, especially from older men. From the very little I watched before moving on, they seemed to be impersonating old-timers through the tone of their questions - fun or otherwise. Whatever seemed to be a very appropriate name for their show.

A nice discussion... why would we accept a state-derived contract of marriage. Any marriage contract should be mutually agreed upon before the commitment... and it shouldnt sway with public sentiment or divorce courts. Both partners needs should be discovered and satisfied in the contract before marriage. A life commitment... the word marriage has been corrupted. Having a contract that rewards failure more than success is a recipe for disaster.

This is the best guest that you have ever had on your show Rich. The questions are great because I like when more and more unplugged men share their setup openly without any stigma, using logic and facts. I am unplugged and have been married before, I do not see any benefit of getting married at all for a man, I love the idea that I can walk away at any time and I have my own place (this is very powerful because the space in between gives her room to miss you). if she starts acting up, all I have to do is give the more space. The kids question is something that I have to think about and my GFs are usually age 28-30 . . . and after some time with me all start singing the "I want kids" song.

Unfortunately, his take on having kids is misguided because he has had terrible role models in his life when it comes to creating a family. I have friends who love being fathers and say it’s the best thing to ever happen to them that also travel the world consistently. It’s possible, but his take is just off base completely.

The whatever show is entertaining and is a bimbo-fest. I feel that Brian should relocate from Santa Barbara to more of the center of America and make more effort to get regular women on the show as well as the bimbos for more balance. Madison is the girl with the kaiser helmet on, she was on the panel several times, including an appearance with her BF, and now has evolved her role into a backup host for Brian and for some comic relief. She is actually a pretty level-headed and attractive girl. And I'll add that not every platform on KZbin is educational nor does it have to be and there is no requirement to send a message.

That was Madison with the spiked hat and black baby doll. She doesn’t always have the baby, but she wears the hat a lot. She’ll sometimes host auxiliary after shows. I think she was on the show as a guest at one point, but now is on the show all the time. Not sure if she works for Brian now or what. Madison not the mascot. The sex doll with blue hair is the mascot (Kikki). But, I did see that podcast and watched the entire thing. It’s not something I’ve done often, but I have watched a few entire episodes of Whatever. They do get long, but I watch them over several sessions. Orion did look a little out of place, and I also thought the women didn’t realize who he was and didn’t think to ask him any good questions to maybe help themselves having a real therapist in the room. They just ignorantly clung onto their views and thought he was some old guy who didn’t have a clue or something. But, I think of Whatever as pure entertainment. I don’t think they’re going to convert anyone.

I am a total Orion fan, his takes on women and relationships have had a huge effect on my understanding and my development in the past year. But when it comes to kids, like having kids, well, I'm 72, I have two daughters. One is trans, the other we adopted from an orphanage where she was abused and neglected for the first year of her life. If you know what that means, you know that I had the most "transformed" life one can imagine for 18 years. Do I regret it? No Fucking Way. I would certainly not be the man I am today, with the depths of understanding, compassion, pain tolerance, and many other now attributes, without the challenges presented by her being in my life. Would I do it again? Again, NFW! All to say to hear Orion say he sees what single men give up to become family men is not attractive to him is totally logical. And Orion is nothing if not logical. But as my oldest brother is fond of saying, Logic is highly over rated. Just being with my adult children is to be present while watching the world transform to it's next iteration. And as my friend Inger has said, she thought she loved her husband, but then she had a child, then learned what love really could be. Then she spoiled the shit out of him.

I don't agree with it being just the clams on these podcast that are not a representation of the overall females. Just watching many channels of street interviews, where women are caught unaware so they have no "persona" to play up for the camera(Unless they are one of those salty feminist that just go off whenever a man ask them anything) that are not just manosphere/redpill type channels like It's Complicated, there are others where you can see women have the same opinions as the bimbos on the right side of Whatever's podcast. Even black female dating coach talking about giving up on women because of all of their delusions and high expectations and never being happy. The good thing also about Whatever is that he is open to have anyone on and debate other subjects not found on Fresh and Fit, which I don't know why some would complain about Whatever being Jerry Springer when FnF has way more heat and females tend to act up waaayy more on that show than with Brian's. Recently Brian had Destiny and Trent Horn/Lila Rose about baby murdering.

Women have a lot of power in society, power to shut down discussions in society if they’re HR workers, teachers of students, etc. so much of society conditions us not to stand up to female misbehavior, and podcasts like whatever or fresh and fit stand up to them, which is good for males to witness. Of course that’s the most generous interpretation to these podcasts and there’s certainly more nuance (like you can get carried away with it, etc.), but that’s the answer to the question.

The problem with people understanding Marriage is that it is not a secular thing. Marriage is a sacrament, like Baptism or Confirmation. People who think of Marriage as a “legal contract “ are the ones who are making a mistake. So if you sign a legal contract with someone, then you are bound by the consequences of breaking the deal. That’s just how it is. Society should change its paradigm concerning Marriage. Marriage is a promise between a man and a woman before God. The legal part of it should be agreed to by both people and should include penalties for breaking the deal. Perhaps all marriage contracts should be unique and drawn up legally like a will with specific rules etc.

Great work gents. It's all said in comments below. Amazing how we have to have these conversations on something like KZbin, and its not part of society convential wisdom. We also have to be very careful with common law and the interpretation of defacto. A LTR shouldn't last more tha 18-23 months. Your assets can be treated the same as married if deemed de facto at law. Make sure you check the local laws and case law.
