Is you dont have a Isoloscope or a SMD Clip detector, you can Also use a Non Polorized, 2.2 Uf-50 Volt capacitor in series with an old tweeter, hook it up to the Amp and when you hear sound comming out of the tweeters thats will be your clipping piont, just back up the gains just hair then.

Show for fun these same test at. 5ohm and. 25ohm. With the understanding of not covered under warranty and with proper electrical because its going to pull 3xs more but output more. I have two skar ZVX-18v2s dual one ohm. I run this amp at. 25ohms and ita amazing. I have dual fans on it on a stand 6 inches high for underneath air flow. On XSpower amgs and diy lithium bank.

I asked the same question but when you factor in voltage drop along with box rise these numbers go down drastically. These tests are pretty cool on these AD1 setups but in the real world in a real car on music that would never happen. If you were doing straight SPL burps it would be relatively closer to these tests as if you do the proper research you would know what your box rise is if you are for Real about hitting the meter.

50ft of 1/0 OFC would be a good start.. I got 1 16ft run of sky high 1/0 oversized OFC pure copper or I'd use 2/0 welding wire, little cheaper about the same thickness but good for 600 volts.. I've got about 30ft of that.. acdc wire supply.com I use the welding wire for the big 3/big 6.. it does very well in heat.. buy all 1 color and save a lot of money get it in 1 shot.. use tech flex to make the wire any color you want.... I'd buy all black 2/0 welding wire if I had to do it all over again.. works great for all your grounds and putting power where u need it.. buy extra cause it will be used eventually. . think I still have about 20ft. I need to redo a couple of my cca grounds.. DO NOT BUY CCA WIRE TO SAVE $$

Exactly, but they fail... ive tried reaching out to them many times, it's the only feature preventing me from buying their amplifiers.... its not hard to change the design to accommodate one, it should be illegal to build amps without that.... especially more expensive ones... go for the wolfram c2400, it's cheap BUT it does rated power AND has a cliplight... even a few of wolframs bigger amps have one...

you guys make super powerful amps but you have the PS heavily bootstrapped with super high gate resistors i understand EMI reg. and all that jazz. It's a shame because the PS would run much cooler and more reliable w/o the ridiculously high resistors. They are beast fets and would do so well with pure hard switching ;)

@@lildno2007 I ran at 0.5 for week, the Amp get hotter than before but not hot to the point where you burn yourself. I was afraid I will burn it up. I have big three upgrade and two xs power 3400 in the trunk. I went back to 2.0 on the Amp. Now am thinking of going back to 0.5? Maybe I should blow up those Subwoofers. I should of got the 1 ohm subwoofers. So I can wire them to 1 ohm😁 I was more worries about the Amp.

I want to know why my HCCA 152 doesn't appear to be able to handle the xtr2500.1dz let alone if I had it on a HCCA amp lol. My gain is set proper with dd-1 and I even had to back it down a tad. Still can't seem to handle the power that amp will push. Which confused me because aren't the HCCA amplifiers meant to run hcca subs? So a single hcca 15 should be able to take a single hcca2500.1 in theory no? I know the amps are extremely underrated but... should the subs be too then?

BaSsAholiC my xtr 2500.1 runs two american bass xrs dual 2 ohm wired down to 1ohm. All day. They are beast. On my built box tuned to 32hz hcca s should handle more.

Dbuilt Series it's possible I'm just being paranoid but idk that amp is putting out close to 7k dynamically at 1ohm with good voltage and 3k at 12.6 so I can see how depending on the song amoung other variables it might be too much. Those amps are probably the most underrated I've seen in a long time if not ever. They could have easily called it a 3k or 3.5k and not really been lying.

It’s your box 📦! Try building a smaller box or going for a higher tuning and smaller if it’s a potted box. Just remember smaller box=higher power handling, bigger box=less power handling plus more Xmax! Although thermally it shouldn’t matter, so I’m assuming your hearing distortion, and the sub appears to be moving to much right? In competition we use boxes way to small and add 4x the rms or more. And in my daily system I had the box built bigger so I could use less power and still get max xmech. I’m running 2 DC LVL4 12’s off 1 DC 2k and the are driven to the max even though there rated for 2800 Watts rms.

I said I thought Big D’s measurements where off a lot and this just proves it. He is basically just burning amps up to sell amps or for the hell of it just to show off the ones he likes maybe but when I seen 10k+ watts out of a 3k I knew right away something was way off. Yea I guess you could throw lighting from Thor’s hammer at it and get 1.1 giga watts as he says but in the real world all that does is smoke amps and speakers so why not just show the real numbers not some messed with number that’s not realistic? Of course he blocked me cause I don’t believe their measurements are right.

Why would they handicap themselves when all the other amp manufacturers use bench ratings? This is a competition amp that should not be installed on a stock vehicle alternator. A test in a stock vehicle wouldn't do anyone any good anyway.
