I had the itch to want to do synthwave painting on some miniatures and I had no idea how to pull it off, I'm so happy to have found your channel! I'm absolutely loving your synthwave tutorials and I'm going through my big cheap bag of monsters learning how to get there with it, I've got an Ewa Golembane model I want to get just right and thanks to your videos I think I'm going to nail it. @@heresyforheretics I made the mistake of getting into 40K, so sadly my fantasy miniatures have been ignored, I've got a scheme in mind, but with the new obsession I think I'm going to paint up a synthwave Death Company first. Thanks for the response! Wasn't expecting that. I love your work! You're content has gotten me to try a lot of new things that I'm loving!

This may be a bit of a different request, but I have always wanted to do a synthwave paint scheme on Team Yankee American tanks (a 15mm Cold War game if you're not familiar). And, in short, youre the only person that I think could produce something that would be helpful in that pursuit. So I would be forever grateful if you eventually got to doing something along those lines :)

awesome job! I would love to paint my orks that way! in that scheme... what would you do for the squighog skin? (well...mine are biomechanical raptor-like creatures, but still..they have skin and some mechanical parts which i would do in the scheme of the armor, talons in that greenish blue...)

Looks Awesome ! Is this really Vallejo Blue Green you paint at 2:20 ? The paint seems really blue when applying, but tend to be green when dried, at the end of the video.

sure is! it does calm down and desaturate as it dries though. you can do a couple of thin coats to keep the colour or use the facing to our advantage to create a little more of a dynamic gradient

Are the purple and pink base coats transparent enough that you would be able to tell if you base coated engine bits in a metallic first?

not really with the paints i used as base coats, but! the familiar pink over metallics would look great and it gets use over the whole model. if you based the metallics after the pink and purple thats the only step youd have to add to it. killer idea!

You may have to approach some of the more organic shapes a little differently but the idea and colours can definitely work!

With normal, everyday, layering. The airbrush doesn't do a great deal of work in this one. If you really wanted too ypu could dry brush the bottom but I'd just paint it all pink and not worry about it
