I love having the comparisons. So often I buy a polish online, get it delivered and paint up a swatch stick and find it’s almost identical to something I already have as the online pictures didn’t really show the true colours. If it’s not too much work for you I would love if you compared new polishes to other things already in your collection so we can see how unique the shade actually is!

I love Take Flight and Indigo Skies. As Kelli would say..those colors make me look tanned 😂. I heard on Mediocre Manis live stream people saying Synthetic Symphony is discontinued. Looks like Indigo Skies might be a close match. SS looks more blue on my nails than the purple in the bottle. Glad I picked one up last year after you were raving about it. You look pretty as always.

Thanks for the comparisons. That was a big help on the coral polishes especially. Those are the ones I’ve been eyeing. I like the blues too. Decisions are harder on a low-buy. It’s a gorgeous collection. I had Take Flight on for 5 days. No chips. My Ulta Exclusives showed up and they’re beautiful too. I just mean in terms of saturation! A "dusty" color means it's less vibrant, or has a little bit of grayness to it if that makes sense 😅 imagine a color slider where one end is super bright/bold saturated and the other end is fully desaturated/gray!

As far as the question of "would you rather", my answer would be a better memory. Mine's not gone but I think as I get older I would like to make sure my memory remains intact. As reading munds, occasionally I've had thiscwishbtoo, but I think it depends how. Would it mean at will? If so, then are we allowed to choose at will when we can do this? Or, would it leas to butter madness where all thoughts of those darling you come at you at once? In that case, I prefer no. Also, at times we need to ask ourselves if we really want to know what someone is thinking? Maybe in some cases but maybe its best we don't know at times. Lastly, I'd think it would be intrusive to that person whose mind we are able to read. Sorry this seems a bit much for the question but things we might consider before wishing for the ability to read minds, I think, if for nothing else but the sheer responsibility and reality of this ability.

Honestly, I feel like the possibility for reading minds to go badly is just too great for me. Is it at will or automatic, what if I read a thought that I really didn't want to know (major TMI) and I can already overthink things so much I suspect reading minds wouldn't help me but could result in more overthinking. I want to reduce my overthinking and obsessing with worry over what someone thinks of me, not just have a means to find out. Though I have a really good memory for specifically memorizing things like a script for a performance when I put in the effort, my mundane short term recall is not as good and I have aphantasia, so no internal visuals at all. Having a photographic memory and being able to visualize things like that would be kind of cool.

Eh not feeling this collection especially when I want neon vibes for the season. Question is a tough one. I’ve heard from someone who has a photographic memory that felt like it was more of a curse because he can’t read restaurant menus or he’d memorize them, things like that. I’d still prefer that to knowing people why didn’t like me or knowing what people were thinking that made me uncomfortable in another way like what sexual things they wanted or other creepy thoughts they might have. Seems cynical but I am a realist from my life experience lol

Beautiful colors, but all the cremes made me realize that style of polish is my least favorite 🤦🏼‍♀️ I did love that light purple! The shimmer was beautiful but yellow isn’t my color! OK, so hear me out… I love Orly but I am disappointed in their most recent collections. They are the same combination of colors, just in different finishes and some aren’t that different. - Cloud Scape: Creams in Coral, Orange, Yellow (slight shimmer), Green, Lite Periwinkle/Blue’ish, Purple - Melting Point: Shimmers in Coral, Orange, Yellow, Lite Blue, Blue, Purple - Aqua Aura: Pearl Shimmers in Green, Blue, Pink, Pink/Coral, Orange, White The pink/corals from CS, MP & the Ulta release are almost identical. Wink Wink & the pink from AA are identical. Same with the Ulta & MP purples... It's a bummer really. Love the side by side comparisons. 🙂 I feel like most of the brands are running the same color pallets, even the indy brands.

No one should accept mind reading until humans are more honest, it will only hurt from the amount people deceive even ourselves.

First two went to my Mum. She won't wear yellow, so I'm stuck with that. The rest? Mine, all mine! I can't really answer the fun fact question. I already have a semi-photographic memory (how I remembered 75 digits of pi, once upon a time), so I don't really need that. On the other hand, I don't want to read minds, because, after growing up in a medical household and working in law firms, I can guarantee that you really DON'T want to know what too many of the people around you are really thinking.

mind reader ability can backfire. you'd find out things you didn't want to know. or see people lie to your face. for mental health, i think you kind of have to pick the other.
