Itachi also never states he's not on the sannin level, Itachi lies to Kisame about being afraid of Jirayai because of his legendary status because he's a spy for Hiruzen on the akatsuki so he's trying to protect the hidden leaf. They could have easily stolen Naruto and no one would have been able to stop them, including Jirayai. (By the way that's Canonical)

Orochimaru has answers for everything kisame has. His snakes can’t be absorbed, they possess poison that kisame can’t regenerate from, and some of them can even use swords to attack kisame. Plus your dismissing the high level iq Orochimaru has, before he left the Akashi he Already knew each members strengths and abilities so taking out kisame would have been easy for him.

Orochimaru speed scaling is almost non existant. Kisame in base can react to V1 Bee who is faster than Base Bee who is relative to KCM1 who is faster than the Raikage. Kisame blitzes Orochimaru in base 10/10 times.

I think Orochimaru is vastly underestimated Itachi is a genjutsu Boss and mops alot of characters and Sasuke took on a extremely nerfed Orochimaru 1. Most hits wont kill him 2. Sasuke who speed blitzed team 7 said he would have lost if not for the nerf who is very fast which tells me Orochimaru must at least be fast enough to react, an this was without curse mark, an sasuke still thought Orochimaru was stronger 3. Edo 4. Brawling 4 tails while Nerfed still 5. All charkra Natures 6. A summon who is stronger than the frog that took on the one tails... 7. The serpent he turns into against itachi (if not for Yamata mirror, blade and gentutsu would be an issue) he was very confident against itachi (even with the loss) 8. Considered for Hokage 9. Got zetsu cells.... Hashirama cells 10. Immortality 11. Absord charkra (did it to kabuto and is stated to be able to do it anyway one his guys in the chunin exams also could too as further proof) 12. Launched Naruto against a sword across a whole forest 13. The gate summoning 14. Immortal 15. Just look at others reactions to him, his charkra is the origanal hashimaru cells equivalent using his charkra was a huge buff I maybe fan boying abit but he's very strong and for anyone not sosp or on the S tier list he's gonna murder

Sasuke couldn’t even kill orochimaru. Orochimaru is the hardest person to kill I’m the whole show right next to hashirama. And he has answers for kisame’s abilities. Kiss and giant bubbles and gains speed boost but snakes also swim. Also hydra. Like there’s nothing he can’t combat.

@@narutoscaling4599 Of course, this video is pretty good. My comment concerns the very interpretation that itachi deliberately tried to lower Kisame's opinion of himself. Which I don't think makes sense. And kisame from part one is just weak. For example: Kisame couldn't recognize migh guy's attack as a human because he was so fast. He took him for beasts. And he remembered that for the next three years. The attack was in Might Guy's base form. Kisame is older than Itachi so he had more combat experience. So he knew his worth. Kisame, if the anime episode based on the novel is to be believed, was already a member of Akatsuki before joining Itachi. So he had plenty of time to observe Orochimaru's power. Do we find out in later chapters that Kisame fought the 4-Tails alone, that all the akatsuki knew he had a lot of chakra. And much much more. Many things can be explained by Itachi being a spy, but whether Kisame's opinion of himself can be explained by that, I doubt.

To play the scaling game. Hiruzen was said to be stronger than all the current Kage when he fought Orochimaru and Orochimaru was shown to be close to Hiruzen. Hiruzen scales over the Raikage who is stronger than Bee. If you're saying Bee and Kisame are the same then Orochimaru scales over Kisame. Also there is no way Bee is stronger than Itachi. Bee was having issues with Edo Nagato and Itachi just immediately took care of Nagato.
