Honestly...Orochimaru is a good dad. Log and Mitsuki trust him, he trains them a lot, he attends parent-teacher conferences, Log offered his organs up to Mitsuki so clearly Orochimaru raised him to be a good and empathetic person, and Orochimaru seems very kind to them. His only downside that we see so far is him manipulating Mitsuki once he was awakened, but it’s not like he was manipulating Mitsuki into being evil.

Most people dont even know how broken Orochimaru has become. Orochimaru has the kekkei genkai of Jugo, Kimimaro and Wood style, he also got Hashiramas regenerative abilitys. He also has all of the abilitys that the sound four, Zetsu and Suigetsu have and some of Karins, this was stated in the last Naruto data book from Kishimoto. Not just that, a lot of time has passed and he became even more broken, he has probably learned new jutsu like his thanos snap. He most likely has sage mode, since he can create humans that have it. His Edo Tensei also is better than the one Kabuto used. When he fought Victor, who is compareable to Hiruzen, he had absolutly no problem with him and was just toying around with the dude. Back then with Hiruzen it was a pretty close call. Kishimoto said, that he has become immortal and because of the Zetsu body he does not even need to eat food.

Orochimaru has always been a timeless villain since his first appearance versus the Third Hokage. People forget he's the best Sanin, an immortal body snatcher who taught the ropes of Kenjutsu to Sasuke, the one who went up versus Tsunade and Jiraiya at the same time, he's been through more fights, learned so many techniques throughout his timeless life I would not doubt he will one day be the new Hashirama / Madara.

I like how orochimaru reversed the sword and showing us exactly the style he taught sasuke. People who are surprised of him using these techniques are too young or just stupid. Every Shinobu learns basic weapon handling even if they don't present it in the anise. Orochimaru literally lived his whole life learning every possible way to gain more power and learn more techniques whether they were taijutsu, genjutsu or any other jutsus in existence. This was just an act. If he fights someone strong then he will go directly towards nuking his opponent without getting close to them.
