What do you make of the obvious symbolic and ritualistic similarities between Rama and Dionysus? The relationship between the Greek and Egyptian tradition is obvious and well established, but the similarities between Rama and Dionysus are shockingly similar. Thanks for doing this. Wish you had a Discord or something lol.

@@brimbledun These are always difficult questions to answer because it involves certain assumptions. Assuming the Osirian myth to have been influenced via India, or vice versa, it must come through trade with the east in Alexandria which served as a nerve center between east and West. But I don't think an early enough date for such trade can be established . The other option is the Jungian approach. We all dream the same archetypal dreams because the human unconscious is collective and universal. These dreams become our myth, and these myths, properly understood, are true. I'm no expert in the far east, but this is my best analysis at this time.
