I should have asked what kind of appliance I am getting. I had my spacers taken out today and they did an impression and fitting around my molars. They said I come back in 4 weeks I was so confused like won’t my space close up in 4 weeks from the area the spacers were?

Is there a difference between Palatal and Maxillary Expanders? Maxillary is the one I'm getting but everyone's talking about Palatal, when I search them up, they look the same just Maxillary a bit bigger.

Maxilla is referring to bones in the jaw and Palate is referring to the roof of the mouth. Both are used in the same way and all of the information in this video should be relevant to your expander.

If you can guide me please I am about to have a braces treatment done for my deep bite Of all the clinics I visited, if you can comment on this With same degree and same brand of braces (Damon) a doctor is charging me a lower amount because he did not have that senior level experience Another doctor, same degree as previous one (Masters Dental Surgery - Orthodontist) is charging me double the amount for the same procedure. Only difference is--he has been in the industry twice longer than the previous doctor Is it worth to get the high cost treatment for same procedure Would appreciate your guidance Thank you
