I've been singing / performing for 30 plus years & in my opinion, artistic license has never been honored in the way it has with this band in regards to this tune in particular. Absolutely phenomenal. The melodic chord changes capture the mood of the lyrics, the arrangement retains the Irish integrity with the instrumental jams, and the violins, flute & tin whistle are extraordinarily tailored. To completely restructure a traditional Irish tune such as this is both bold & risky, but to capitalize on that endeavor in leaps & bounds has to be a most gratifying achievement. To hear the conventional versions of this tune & then take in this incredible creation (by a Serbian band, no less) is beyond description & scope.

Take my word for it, the most recognizable renditions of this song are this version done by Orthodox Celts, the version from the Sherlock Holmes movie starring Robert Downy Jr. as Mr. Holmes himself, and the version done by The High Kings, also credited for their version of Marie's Wedding having sound significance toward the Orthodox Celts' and Van Morrison's versions of the song.
