Ingredients:
For Caramel syrup:
Sugar - 3/4 cup ( 150g)
Hot water - 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp
Lime juice - 2 tsp
For Cake Masala powder:
Cardamom - 6
Cloves - 20
Cinnamon - 3 piece ( 1 1/2" size )
Nutmeg - a small piece ( 1/2" size )
Dry ginger - a small piece ( 1/2" size )
For Cake:
All purpose flour / Maida - 2 cup ( 270g )
Baking powder - 2 tsp
Cake masala - 1 tsp
Salt - 2 pinch
Butter - 200 g
Powder sugar - 1 1/2 cup ( 225g )
Egg - 4
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Caramel syrup
Orange essence - 1/2 tsp
Plum cake essence - 1 tsp
Soaked dry fruits - 2 cup ( 500g )
Maida - 2 tbsp
Rum/ Brandy( for brushing ) - 2 tbsp to 3 tbsp ( optional )
