the beginning was real rough. he knows what he's doing- he's just not that great of a singer but then again, neither was Johnny Cash. Mediocre voices didn't stop a lot of people from being mega stars

@@vegandolls yes, on the opposite of the spectrum a lot of amazing technical singer ends up being nowhere in their musical career. The not-so-great singers is working hard in making up their flaws by improving their songwriting i guess, which in the end matters more in making the art.

Even though his vocal chops aren't as overwhelmingly powerful as Whitney Houston or even Dolly, his delivery is just so damn good that the song still carries the same emotional heft. He knows what he has, and his unironic love for classic country music really make him a special and unique talent in his own right.

The Wanderer cries and Dogmeat howls along in perfect harmony. I never knew my favourite video game franchise needed this, but now I realise what has been missing all these years!

I have been a fan since first stumbling upon his music last year. He reminds of Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, and Elvis all combined. He is a throwback to a time no longer in existence. I love his music. He is original and a breath of fresh air. I can’t wait to see him live here in Vegas in 2 months!

Gay representation in genres that aren't necessarily the most open towards LGBTQ+ artists (For example: country music) is important to highlight, and his original songs definitely do not shy away from the gay so I think it's fair to say Orville Peck wants us to talk about it
