*Seems like a pretty good reel **enjoyable.fishing** recommend and the rod is even better then I expected, pretty stiff for a medium but really nice quality.*

The Orvis Company how do you cast without snapping your line causing the knot to break and loosing your fly.

Great video man, it helped a lot! Is there any chance you know a Joe Casey?

Great video and instruction! I have maybe a slightly different situation. Surf casting 70- 100 ft the fly sometimes hits me -- not necessarily the fly line but the actual fly. I actually had a fly hit my wrist exactly in my artery and it swelled up to the size of a golf ball. Any help would be great!

I just ordered a fly rod and I'm still a little unclear about what I'm supposed to be doing with my left hand and the line. Could someone explain what I should be doing and when? Thank you.

My fly rarely hits my rod, but it hits me in the back of the head quite a bit. What might i be doing wrong?
@MooshieGaming6 жыл бұрын
Cole Jackson There could be two things you might be doing wrong. 1. There is wind that is shoving the fly at you 2. Your wrist is twisted towards your body, which causes your fly to hit you in the back of the head on the forward cast.

I'm that guy that actually broke my rod today doing that 🤣

All these videos assume your fishing light dry flies. Which for me is easy to cast. But 99.9999 % of the time any place I’ve been it’s double nymph or dry and nymph rig sometimes with weight and most times with indicators. Now your swindling a chain through the air and the only issue I have is fishing really close in small streams if you get a hit and try to set the hook… that string of hell is coming back at your rod and your now starting over with a new rig.
