OS Sirius 7 FR7 420 Radial Engine, FULL Gasoline CH Ignitions CDI Conversion, Running on HI Octane and 20 to 1 mixture.
Prop: Xoar 24 x 10
Idle 1000-1200 RPM
WOT: 5800+ Seen 5900 RPM
Apparently spins the same prop at the same/tad better on Gasoline.
Engine will run Hotter , cooling is a MUST in enclosed cowls .
Electric pump is need it. May get away with pressurized tank like on glow but I do not like that Idea!!!.
A gear pump like APS or diaphragm pump like RCexl.

I am thinking of buying a new OS and do this conversion. Could you talk more about the instalation of the ignition pick up?

Adding some live SPARKS always makes a difference doesn't it, the dead ones never seem to work that well...........

This one is much better than OS SIRIUS 5 CYL RADIAL. Not so weak.

Short answer: no It`s not the size, it`s the whole design, this isn`t designed to have a passive cooling system, it gets cooled by the air from the prop (and airspeed in flight), it`s not meant to drive a flywheel and gearbox, or a person, everything about it is wrong lol. It`s "possible", but it would be very difficult to do, it`s just not what it`s designed for :) Rotary bikes have been made, such as here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYOQd5mCarOZbLs But those engines are quite different from this one. As far as I can gather, the only thing more difficult to use would be a turbine.. I know, I`m 4 years late, but I answered anyway because I`m bored ;)
