In his book he talked about feeling like a coward all his life because he couldn’t help protect his mom. On the breakfast club he said he felt insecure with Tupac because jada loved him so much and will felt like the corny rapper . Jada always talk about how much she loved pac . Even willow wrote a letter asking for pac to come back to make her mom happy again. And not to mention the entanglements and dirty Laundry jada airs. She even talked about their mediocre sex life. Lavern cox mentioned entanglements last week. Who knows the pressure and insecurities this man feels in his personal life. He laughed initially but then seeing jada face he felt the need to protect her and show her his masculinity. That is always in question. He has a lot of money, and fame but he still needs to fix a lot of his insecurities. It is NOT ok to result in violence especially where you aren’t in harm.

Chris was making fun of will’s wife with alopecia that is f***ed up because she can’t control her loss of hair. I am surprised that the reporting is not including how he, Will disrespected the Williams family, particularly Richard Williams by calling him name(s) when he collects the Oscar an hour after the slap and f-bombs and using this incident as an excuse to do this. Mr Williams is a legendary, living Father regardless of alleged foibles. So much for bringing glory to the movie..... All it left was a stench for everyone who was involved with the movie at every level. Where is the footage where Serena has her head in her hands? The night was bittersweet for Venus and Serena. Chris Rock took it because he had to. You don't joke about people's wife's with sensitive issues and expect them to applaud you, plus he won that joke with the audience and should pay a price for it. Two Good Men I still REALLY like Smith as an actor, but I hate that behavior he unleashed on Rock & that was a bad joke only because, what's supposed to be so funny about Jada playing G.I. Jane? I think Jada would make an EXCELLENT G.I. Jane & if someone wants to do a remake, of that really good movie, she would be PREFECT FOR THAT PART, to me girl could have truly looked at that as a compliment because G.I. Jane (Demi Moore) was beautiful with her bald head & so is Jada & Jane was a BAD A** SOLDIER, one any military would want on their side; Demi played the hell out of that role & "NO DOUBT", Jada would too, she'd just have her own original SSSIZZLE. Will get your mind right, go workout some of life's stress at the gym & not on other harmless entertainers; and I sure hope you find away to make this right with Rock, maybe you'll let him slap the sh*t out of you of international tv tocall it even🤔 it's just a thought.☺️

@@abbyabby8253 You're ABSOLUTELY RIGHT Abby, and after Rock's joke he decided not to immediately react to Will's physical assault on him & that's his right as you suggested; but had he done that to many others, they would have most definitely chosen another right & attempted to IMMEDIATELY do real physical damage to Smith in return. And UNFORTUNATELY, now people are saying things about him & Jada that I'm sure they & even their children are MORE SORRY than any of them could imagine, and some of it is being said by people they KNOW & most aren't playing, they're going strong & digging deep, it feels like they're daring Smith to come for them, EVEN WITH WORDS because they want to give him a taste of his own medicine & it's their FREEDOM & RIGHT to do so and they're doing it because of Will's OVERLY-SENSITIVE, PRIVILEGED, ASSAULT on Rock; yep, THE HOUND DOGS OF HELL are out for VENGEANCE. Since Smith was so offended by Rock's WORDS, Smith should have hit back with WORDS or took him to court, not his hand; that would have been MUCH BETTER FOR EVERYONE. Being compared to G.I. Jane was a VERY NICE joke & even complimentary, if you haven't watched the movie you should & young Demi Moore played the hell out of that role, plus she was beautiful & a BAD A$$; Jada could definitely play G.I. Jane & bring the fire with her skill & her natural beauty; HELL, that was a complimentary joke. Words Abby honey, if everybody got jacked up over a joke, even those that are intended to HURT, the bloodshed we see now couldn't possibly compare, that's sad to try to justify that over-the-top violent response, PEOPLE need to grow-the-fu*k up. That was not an attack on Jada, it was a joke & a really NICE JOKE at that; but now FOR-REAL VERBAL attacks are being made against Jada by some very heavy hitters, OH MY, many of their WORDS are VERY HARD TO HEAR & they're purposely trying to provoke response, so what's Will going to do now? Rock MAY HAVE forgiven Smith already; but it's obvious, some people felt that slap personally & they haven't forgiven & there's nothing Smith can say right now that will stop them from exacting their own retribution & WITHOUT the use of violence, unless Smith ATTEMPTS violence on them! TOO SAD! Yep, anyway you look at it, actions MANY TIMES have CONSEQUENCES. Rock told a joke he thought was funny & as a comedian, he understands some people may be offended by some of his jokes, BUT, NONE of his jokes would ever warrant such a response. PEOPLE, GROW UP!

The minute the Will Smith thing happened at the Oscars - the movie Jerry McGuire passed through my thoughts, and I wondered how many days until he is fired. Dave Chappellle talked about "leverage" when he smoked on stage at the Kennedy Centre receiving his "Mark Twain Award. The Will Smith moment was "leverage" too. It's hard to kick him out when you know you are presenting him with an award in a few minutes. I love stand-up. I love Dave Chappelle and Hannah Gadsby. I love them both because they are both deep thinkers who share what they think and how they feel - even if others disagree. I want to live in a world where everybody gets to do that, without being hit, hurt or killed. People with power become so isolated they believe the sycophants around them. Just look at Putin. I love Russel Brand's take on all of this - "what does it say about us? What does it say about our society? I feel badly for everyone involved. Everyone. But I do hope, in time, we can all have a bigger and deeper conversation about it that helps us all. xoxo
