Nice one thanks for the update. One fish there hardly mentioned is the good batch of silver dollars you have there. I think they help to make the tank work too with the other inhabitants. I'm thinking of getting a juvenile Arrowana Leichardi (the Aussie version) and growing it out for 12 months then adding to my 10 ft. Good call on removing the driftwood. I think I'll do the same. I have a large piece of driftwood (5ft long) I have in the tank. As they all get bigger they will need that space to move around more easily.

Cheers mate, yes the silver dollars are massively underrated. They do seem to calm the bigger fish and they are great at eating all the smaller pieces of food that the bigger fish drop. I still haven't seen an Arowana Leichardi in person, but the ones I've seen online look absolutely beautiful.

Cheers Paul, I really do love him.💯😅 I took the Oscars to a shop called Rhyl Aquaria, its only about 30 mins drive from me. It's a good little shop owned by a top bloke called Gaz. Worth a visit if your ever down this way mate.👌

Small world isn't it mate lol. Yeah, he's always happy to help. Definitely in my top 3 local fish shops. Which caravan site was you on Paul? Lots of lovely camp sites round that way. We had one on Presthaven sands for a while. I even still genuinely miss the sound of the rain on the caravan roof.😂 Would be mint to meet up if your ever down this way mate.💯👊

Lovely site that mate. We ended up moving to Rhyl we loved it that much lol. Lived there about 4 years but then moved to Llandudno as my wife has always had a soft spot for the place. We both still love Rhyl and go regularly though mate.👌

Yes, it's a flagtail. One of my favourites, such a lovely character and definitely eats more algea in my tank than any pleco I've ever owned mate. Always on the move and always grazing.
