I cannot believe that so many people criticize the concept! Execution could be much better, but this is still one of the best ideas Oscars had to actually turn this boring show into something watchable and entertaining. I wish they had this every year.

This is easily the best presentation for best costume design I’ve ever seen. EDIT: Okay, so, for as much as I like seeing the costumes coming to life on this segment, the context of the entire video loses something when you don’t see the names, sketches, & clips before this. Without them, it feels like a focus on a model show.
