To make matters worse, after he stepped outside for a celebratory cigarette, a security guard wouldn’t let him back in. Even though he was holding his recently won Oscar! Long story short, the police were called and Zbig was arrested after the infamous words, “American pig, I have Oscar.” He is the only person thus far to have won an Oscar and then be arrested and jailed in the same night.
