Oscilloscope Probes

Cool video, I learned something new :) Never thought the input impedance would drop so dramatically in the single kilohertz frequency range... I always thought the audio frequency range was pretty safe and it would take at least until a few megahertz before it actually happens. Bad news for an audio electronics girl like me :D

Well, don't forget that I was testing the probes in 10X mode with its compensation circuitry etc. Further more the Spectrum analyzer has a start frequency of 9 KHz so anything below that is not necessarily displayed accurately. So for Audio frequencies it is alright to set the probes to 1X which connects the probes directly to the Oscilloscope which can display right down to DC.
