He wasn't trying to stop her from being famous, it's because she specifically wanted to become an Idol, which has a very toxic culture and ultimately killed their mom, you can't forget that, it's very rooted in Aqua's character, and I know what he did was wrong, he shouldn't take her choice from her, but he didn't do it because he is a hypocrite and wants to be the only one that's famous lol

I don't usually make a lot of just positive comments or compliments, I tend to make more observations and the such, but since you guys mentioned it I think it's a good time to say that I really do enjoy your videos. I'm not subscribed right now solely because you often watch anime dubbed, something I'm not a fan of, it's not a fault of yours or anything like that, it's just the type of content. But I do really enjoy all the videos I see, you guys are fun to watch, many times less for the reaction and more just to see you all talking even, you have interesting personalities and part of the joy of any group reaction is seeing how people not only watch/react, but how they share the experience with each others. Actually, I have been trying to increase my dub tolerence recently so no better moment, I'll just subscribe right now.

How interesting. It took me awhile to subscribe to them for the opposite reason. I feel like they've reacted to a lot of subbed anime (Haikyu, Hunter x Hunter, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, etc.). I prefer dubbed especially if it's a group of people reacting to it since people start talking over each other and they miss a bunch of information.

@@MichaelaEvans It might just be my impression, but I feel like they started doing sub more often at some point. As for your point, I always felt like it would be the opposite. If there's subtitles, they can read while they talk, but if it's dubbed, the conversation would drown out the audio far more easily wouldn't it? At least that's my personal experience watching stuff with my brother. At least for me, it's always MUCH easier to miss stuff if I'm watching something dubbed. PS: I'm subscribed now by the way.

FYI, this story about manga's live adaptation is a real story of one of the author (Aka Akasaka). One of his other work (Kaguya Sama : Love is war) had an live adaptation in Japan. It was so terrible, he was really disappointed...
