There is/was a Starship that flew from KLGA to KCRQ quite often a few years ago. Beleive it was owned by a farming produce company. Been a while since I've seen it though.

@@Paiadakine Its been a while but we bought our place in 2015 and I've seen it since then but it has been a few years still so maybe in 2015-2016. Anyway thought I'd mention it. They are a awesome sight to see and hear and much more impressive than that other canard running around now.

When I was in the Marine Corps in the mid 70s I worked on those A 4s. Nice to see them still flying.

Rossy, it is a Beechcraft Starship. Not in production anymore.

I thought Beech requested the FAA pull the Airworthiness certificate of the Starship and bought all the known aircraft and scrapped them.

Doug, it was long ago but I think Beechcraft destroyed all the aircraft that weren't sold. Raytheon, the owner of Beechcraft, doesn't support Starships. I think if you had bought a Starship and kept it maintained the airworthy cert. is still good.

That Beechcraft Starship is still one of the most beautiful airplanes ever built! It's a shame that most of them were purposely destroyed.
