It's funny. I got into Osho because of the Wild Wild Country Netflix documentary, which kind of paints a negative picture of this weird sex cult. But the truth stands for itself. I don't understand how you can see and listen to this man and not agree that there truly is a special quality to him. A silent deep power that he has. As if he lives in a different mental realm. Respect, Osho.

I also knew him from this documentary. But I don't think the documentary really paints him in a negative light. It just shows two opposing perspectives to him and his sect. And this is better to paint him in a positive light. The reality depends on how we see. Don't get annoyed by the opposing view. They are like hate. It's just like how Osho preached here. You don't get rid of them. You simply recognise them and let them go. Your recognition of Osho does not need your strong disagreement with your opponents.

That is exactly the message of Eckhart Tolle: live your life consciously and your negative qualities will be dissolved by your consciousness. You don't have to do anything else, simply BE AWARE of the things that happen in your life: thoughts, emotions, the environment. I'm a living proof that what Osho said is true so why not begin trying it now? It's your choice, I'm simply trying to motivate you.

Yes I discovered eckhart tolle first only then to reliase the whole idea of your not the voice in you head but the one listening to it osho talked about first and discribed in a similar way eckhart did.

I just recently started to practice meditation through Headspace. The idea behind the approach is really the same as to what Osho preached here: recognising and reconciling with your self and your tensions rather than repressing them. Being mindful is really just being aware. Interestingly, before I learnt any of these, a series of my own life experiences had already made me conceive a similar idea years ago. I once pushed myself so hard to change myself to become a better person and to achieve my goals. For a time, I felt my own self was divided into two parts, one is my backward self based on intuition, another is the idealised self based on rationality. The tension between these two was once so extreme to a point in which I got a mental issue. I then gradually realised that I need to accept my 'backward' self because it's also part of me. But that's just part of my own thoughts until I started to practice meditation and heard similar logic from meditation narrators. Now I just head this again from Osho. This really resonates with my own thoughts and experience. As Osho said, perhaps it's best to experience to learn. At least for me, personal experience makes his words and meditation fit me naturally.

Years ago, I was so judgemental about OSHO, I didn't understand anything about him, it was just mind, mind, mind until I meet him, it was a book with His eyes over the first page, I was curious and open the book, and he spoke to me, with so much love, it didn't matter my judgments, He spoke to me, and it was a change, but not a great change as the one I realized I am going through right now after I saw Wild Wild West, and I had some guts to open my heart, then, I realized regardless the scandal at that time, what I read in that book, it was about how a true lover will keep on loving yet the hate, the envy, the judgment, and how a heart that leaves in love, it beats with the lover even if he acts in ways that we don't understand because is only through the heart, how we keep in love. Then, I look for him on KZbin, and I thought, WOW! He is so handsome, I love him, I want to be right there, dancing with him... but day by day, I realized that my attraction for him it is not possible to compare with other forms of love that I know, because it is a new experience. OSHO... just instantly, his silent words keep running like water, that's it, just as water, precious, priceless, it's freedom itself, and I am as if I am borning again, slowly, moment by moment, feeling how my heart is beating with His, eternally, without mind in between, just being myself. Ask yourself how many people you really hate and then right down a number, it does not even need to be accurate. Now think about the "organisations" and "groups" you hate. The state, the school, a political group, that other company there, any ethnic group. Now write down that number. Notice something? I think the source of all hate is the unwillingness to understand and it is harder to understand complex system than it is to understand people. Like he said brilliantly: As soon as you become aware of it, it disappears. People who hate anything are either too lazy, afraid or busy to understand.
