Fun fact: those squares on the desert floor that you see from the top of Masada are the ruins of the Roman encampments that they used to lay siege against the Jews taking refuge in Masada after the destruction of the Holy Jewish Temple (73-74 AD). The Roman’s actually built the ancient worlds largest siege engine in order to destroy the impregnable fortress. Instead of being captured alive and sold into Roman slavery or executed the Jews committed mass suicide rather than fall captive.
Congratulations guys, I follow your videos and from all of them, this is the one I really enjoy. Visiting Massada must be something great. And the views are incredible. Thank you very much for sharing your trips with us.

Great scoping the Dead Sea. Amazing seeing all those cool streams and waterfalls in the hills above it- and what a view of it from the Masada Fortress! I hope you get the chance to see the Sea of Galilee (which is the freshwater source of the River Jordan at 700 feet(213 meters) Below Sea level) and the River Jordan itself (which empties into the Dead Sea at 1412 feet (430 meters) Below Sea Level . That makes the Jordan the only major river in the world with its course ENTIRELY below sea level!

Thank you so much once again dear Oskar and Dan for sharing your most incredible adventures. I can't get over how dry it all is and then suddenly water. The Dead Sea looks absolutely bizarre. It must be so refreshing. I think I prefer the beautiful water holes and waterfalls. The rock formations look out of this world. I think I would have been in ice-cream heaven with all those flavours. The food looked amazing too. I bet it was tasty and spicy. Masada I have read about with the incredible sacrifices there against the Romans. What people have endured is unimaginable. I'm so glad you both got away from the tensions of Jerusalem. You two are so incredibly generous sharing your lives with so much. You both deeply touch my heart with all your kindness and generosity. That's something very special guys. I wish you both only happy days, David

Israelis don't really experience the stress the way you do, as first time visitors coming to Jerusalem and Hebron and literally immersing yourself in anything and everything Israeli -Palestinian conflict. "Regular" Israelis just live their life alongside the conflict but not immersed in it. Perhaps you will get a taste of that as you leave Jerusalem, and more importantly, if you just talk to Israelis "normally," like you would with anyone else in the world instead of constantly circling back to "the conflict." I would like you to consider that obsession with "the conflict" is largely a property of you, as a visitor. (This isn't an accusation, you've been conditioned to think about this region in this way). It follows that if you allow yourself to tame, or lose, this obsession, you will find to your surprise that the locals have as well. And you'll find that it can get sooooo interesting outside the bubble of "the conflict."

Thank you for your very balanced comments about Israeli Arab relationship. So nice to see our small country from your point of view. Israel is wonderful in the winter and less hot to travel. Israel can be cheaper if you want. Isrotel hotel chain is considered very expensive.
