Personally I'm more impressed by "beneath these piles of stinking light" (or maybe it's "pyres", either way, cool imagery). The other lyric is just a paradox, something self contradictory that your brain can't resolve at all, but the other one is just a riddle, one which could in fact be solved. They both get you to stop and think, break out of the habit of mindless acceptance, but the latter offers you more hope that your new train of thought might actually lead somewhere.

I remember vividly. I was scanning my satellite signals for new TV stations I didnt know. It was 2002 in germany. I stumbled upon a music video station called IMusic1 and at 2am after satyricon aired there it was. The music video of warhead. I was enthralled. Been a fan ever since.

@jewishparasite1005 жыл бұрын
She's too focused on "look, I'm a woman and I can scream metal too". I like male metal singers more. They're more confident, more comfortable with the genre and most of them don't forget to actually sing well. Maybe it's got something to do with the voice too. The scream is ok, but she sounds like a teenage boy going through voice break when she starts singing words. Evanescence does it right. I don't listen to that, but it deserves respect, because Amy Lee knows her limits and uses the feminine sound to her advantage. She doesn't overdo anything, like this chick. Amy would put her on a leash and kick her into a doghouse.

No offense but I hope you're not American, as this wasn't even hard for me to figure out and I'm fucking Australian haha, no one should ever need something so significant in their own country explained to them by someone on almost exactly on the other side of the planet in a country a 20+ hour flight that you can't even be flown directly to/from (having to stop in Asia to re-fuel etc)...
