The only way I can describe the meaning of this song is when you are so depressed that you are on the verge of insanity because of how desperate and helpless you feel. Otep projects her anger and despair as if she was sharing someone else’s pain and it’s almost therapeutic, despite the song being absolutely terrifying when listening to for the first time.

I'm pretty sure she is a part of the LBGTQ community, so I honestly just see Otep as an artist who is as badass as anyone out there.
