Matt, The Mega bass Vatalion 4.5GG Gin Buma, floats, will drive 1 to3 ft. Darts left or right. Looks like BG , works great on BG beds that are in 4 ft of water. It also has a sound like the one you had. This one catches small and big bass. I use all year round in Florida. The other is Raid Japan Osakana Swimmer 5" in the bait color. Its slow sinking, and has the treble hook in body, that snaps out when bass is hooked. Just learning this one. No fish caught, yet. Don't forget, to do a video, on deck and rod organization, how many rods, both spinning, and bait casters. How long to fish, before changing, rods technique. Thank you,

Hey Matt, thanks for the videos! I would love to see a video on baits to pick up that specifically target larger than average fish. I've recently got into tournament fishing. Haven't had any trouble weighing in a limit, so now I need to learn how to start targeting bigger fish.

I still throw the old R2S S-Waver 168s- they work great. I also tried one by Jerry Rago this past season- the Thunderhawk Cha-Cha Glide- and it works really good as well. And I still throw the Jackall Gantarel Jr., but it's a very niche style glide. It's not a normal glide really- I fish it shallow and in short fast bursts- around bluegill nests and hangouts. It gets tagged though- works really well for me in the spring when the bass are starting to pull into the shallow to spawn and want to get rid of the bluegill in the area.

Not a fan of the biggs unless I'm wanting to work it slow. The chad shad and spro chad shad are good. I'm really impressed with the bait sanity antidote. Also excited to try the 7 inch tsg if it swims like the 9" it will be my favorite.

I have several but you can get a 6th sense Flow Glider and cut the plastic to open the joint angle and that thing runs as good as any high dollar custom made glide out there, also the Savage Gear Shine glide are awesome as well as the Spro/KGB Chad Shad are great also.

Thanks for the video, great content!! I have had success with both the larger and smaller glide baits with the limited access I have, mainly shallow retention ponds and bank fishing from shore. I find that the larger baits are better to find larger fish, either through them interacting or following the bait, and following through with a smaller glide or soft swim bait. Its amazing though, I have caught a lot of 1-1/2 pound shakers off of 8" baits, it's just the mood of the fish and the current conditions. FYI - I find that the worse the weather the better they bite the glide baits.

Matt you need to check out the Raid Japan Osakana slide 170. They just released at the hook up tackle. They are an all rubber floating glide that you can weight to perfectly suspend. I have been crushing bass on it. You can give it a little twitch and just stop and it hangs there it has been driving the bass crazy.

I think the S waver 168 works well. Can swim at different speeds and cadence and sinks relatively well but can also wake on surface if using high rod hold and start immediately. My Biggs looks good swimming but you have to run slowly or it pops up quickly. Also tough to cast far because of the big flat profile. I will say though it doesn’t tumble on the cast.

Evergreen uses to make the ES Flat. Shad profile, somewhat choppy style glide. The knock off blanks are avaialable. I like this bait for river smallmouth. Ima glide fluke 125 - interesting bait, swim it, glide it, fluke it. Very erratic, swims good in current. They make a 145 also. Thunderhawk lures makes a good 6-7” glide, thin profile, great swim. The Deps Tiny bull shooter is a must in the pre spawn when they first start moving up. Happy hunting Matt
