As a South African I can attest to the fact that Trevor Noah has shown us South Africans that anything and everything is possible! He is a national treasure over here in SA. Also, when Pharrell spoke about the Global Citizen concert that took place in South Africa back in 2018 (I was there), Pharrell was so kind to me by getting his team to take me backstage so he could sign my "Places and spaces I've been" book" by him. One of the most memorable moments of my life! Seeing the respect they have for each other brings me joy.

Today I accidentally came across you Trevor, Pharrell, Scott and Fam-lay, and I am so grateful to the universe these young men are talking actually about spirituality and beyond. Through Trevor I learned about his divine comedy, I had never watched comedy before as I was busy just surviving the trials and tribulations of life. Thank you to you young men that I see change in the universe and I believe you all are in the front of making this world a better place. All of you have the platform to make this world a better place. Peace and God’s blessings.

In another video, he said that as he was writing his book Born a Crime, he realized his mother was the true hero in his life. Such a wise woman! She doesn’t just talk the talk, she walks the walk and taught him a life lesson that he is nownow imparting to the world. God bless his mom! 💙😇 💙 What I got from his story is that we should love people even when they’re unlovable…

As a south african listening to this. It made me cry...why...just the listening to guys like this gives me hope of the youth for tomorrow. At this moment in South Africa chaos regarding corruption in our country is sad and terrifying at the same moment. Being real and being authentic in this day and age is refreshing but so many is converting what the social media advocate in sly ways. thank you for this platform. A person could loose yourselve in this media world and im scared for the future of my kids...scared to death in a world that things should be better...humanity is key...Trevor proud that u are using your platform in such a positive way... i love your comedy but most of all appreciate your honesty.

Trevor paints a picture of his life so spontaneously, in his own unique way..his charisma is rare nowadays.. he rarely puts ego or comparisons over being himself.. So humble! Most successful artists try too hard too look "sophisticated" or "dope" and it taints their characters.

someone told me a line that sticks with me. #perspective 'if two people look out of the same window for the first time, they will probable focus different points first.' everyone has its own perspective. even if we are on the exact same spot. trevor's perspective is just a treat. like you said before. his way of not judging and seeing things as fun is an enrichment for all of us. I'm grateful to be able to learn from him. i wish i just can hang out with him all the time to become a better person myself.

I am a Language professor, much older than Trevor and the entire panel, but I have taken two excerpts to share with my students. The 1st one is ‘the curse of having everything ‘ and the 2nd one is the difference b/ ‘personal truths and fact’. However the one about his semblance of goodness being a fraction of what his mother was as a human being, I’ll keep it for myself because that’s also my personal truth. You guys made me extremely proud, so I have subscribed to your channel. Much love & respect to all 4 of you.🎁 UBUNTU😎

This has honestly been so insightful. Trevor speaks of Ubuntu and as a South Africa and for so long that was the doctrine for humanity here but I think the deterioration of the act in SA shows how scary social media is. Everyone [me included] just feels so polarised that even when we are around each other it feels like we are still so far apart. Idk if it’s bc I’m gen Z but I feel the incessant burden of exhaustion and anger which is justified… anyway it’s nice to just catch a breather.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE TREVOR NOAH! His story(Born A Crime) has made me so anxious to visit South Africa. Two weeks after I graduated from my university I landed in Tanzania to be a volunteer teacher for a year. That experience was hands down, one of the two most eye-opening and enriching ones in my life, second to the birth of my son. I was in a country that was the real home of my people. Trevor’s memoir shared with me the real life experiences of my people in SA. I had already been told that black South Africa had and does experience similar abuses to African Americans. South Africa is definitely at the top of my bucket list! BLESSINGS TO YOU TREVOR, MY BROTHER ❤️

humanity is universal. understanding, empathy, hearing and really seeing someone who disagrees with you and trying to view them as a human being is universal. i (white, woman with 3 kids, living in europe, immigrant myself..) feel connected yo trevor so much through the attitude, through the striving. he gave me so much strength and accompanied me in the last (very hard!!) years. he will never know.but i am eternally grateful and gives me hope for humanity, for my kids, for myself. 🙏🙏🙏 makes me feel not giving up the way i view things even if it seems unseen, unappreciated, makes sense. i am holding on, eternally grateful for everyone who feels and ACTS like this. bless you, man. and everyone who spreads awareness, inner purity, understanding for fellow human beings. ❤️❤️❤️

Trevor is always so insightful and forward thinking. When an interviewee asks a question about your past negative actions, it’s because they have become uncomfortable with your level of success and they need to smear you a little bit. Notice the dude with the glasses (not Pharrell) get excited as Trevor talks about the CD’s.

Been looking forward to watching this from the onset. Just the focal point on your guest, plus the conversation across 3 rooms. 👌🏾 Hearing Trevor, it seems that his journey was about applying a lot of principles. That's a nod to his reference to his early hustle. On music, I didn't know his first tastes were from Gospel- me too! His vowing to his beliefs, and his roots makes me see how grounded he has learned to be. Overall, this was interesting to listen to. It's a great connection you have.

I wanted a comedie to make me laugh to remind me of home I put trevor and I find this. I pressed play and I am so thankful for this. Every words, breath, moments, laughs, every emotions, sensations I could feel it. My heart feel at peace for some reason I have not put a finger into it yet. But the gratitude to have been able to listen to it and remember that Life Is simple it is luck and joys and exchange and that no matter what, we are all still human and we are all still affected by each other, even if we are not realising it at present. Just thank you. I definitely pushed the suscribe button.
