What a wonderful story. I had a spiritual transformative experience while sitting in nature myself. I lived in the countryside of the Tuscan Apennines after high school when I was 18. There was a bench a little outside of my house, that overlooked the landscape. I used to sit there reading my books and enjoying the view in between my pages. One day I looked up from my book and standing in front of me, about 15 feet away, was the biggest hare that I had ever seen in my life. It was at least 30 inch tall, which was mind blowing. It looked at me and when our eyes met, time stopped. It is hard to explain but it felt like our consciousness merged in that moment. I felt its intelligence, there was peace, there was understanding there was connection. It felt like the hare saw who I was. As if it looked into my soul. At a certain moment it nodded, as if it gave me its approval, it turned around and slowly walked away. I was in awe. It was such so profound. My connection to nature was changed forever since that moment

Wow! thanks yes the consciousness merging - that's what it feels like.

Having hiked for years I have found many a strange thing happen in the quietness of nature but after a while you find they cease. The only reason they cease is that you no longer find them strange but normal infact. David Whytes poem 'Sometimes' resonates with me. A good listen, thank you.

Another very fascinating chat! It a nice change to have a talk about an experience outside the UK. Sedona is full of energy and vortex’s, the first encounter seemed friendly but I feel the second with the young men and their anger could be just like in Ireland were the Fea protect their forts or sacred circles, they were warning him away. It’s so interesting that the experiences people have like this it’s only later on reflection does it dawn upon them it was a possible meeting with Fae or magic folk from the other side. Also I love the way he described the first encounter and his dress style…very funky and 70,s disco! Thank you! ❤️

I love the thought that the universe is a yes! Sedona is well known as a spiritual place with portals. The fact that the young man just stepped out of the woods sounds like moving through a portal. Maybe it was your guardian angel warning you so that you remain here alive?

Then he could have saved his ward a lot of effort by just looking like a normal hiker and telling him there was no way to cross. Ultimately, he didn't need any warning because he could see for himself that the flood couldn't be crossed without help or an alternate route.

Lovely. From all the stories I've listened to, and my own experiences, I think it's not only a very open childhood, but also a traumatic one, that cracks us open. I've heard both. I totally agree about the Yes. I've had that. And it does stay with you, if you let it. Staying open is a practice, I think. Allowing miracles to be. If you can do that, magic is everywhere. Near water. Woods. Liminal places anywhere. Thanks Jo.

Sedona is linked to the inner earth....possibly a gateway to this world! There's also a lot of UFO activity in this area too! Either way that was a great conversation and so well articulated by both....we live in truly amazing times! Say YES to the universe I loved that and I feel like that was a message I needed to hear in this moment! Love & Peace to all!

Often when I'm out in the wilds, solo hiking, I get a feeling that i'm not entirely alone and occasionally check behind me feeling someone is following; there seldom ever is anyone at those particular times. It's not a creepy feeling or any thing like that, in fact, it's ever so slightly comforting. Thanks for the very interesting and enjoyable video. 👍

Hiking strenuously for all those miles, without proper rest stops, only having power bars, is repetitive mild trauma which puts you in a self-hypnotic state. I've had paranormal experiences during long solo walks too. Not saying this is the only explanation.

There are so many strange stories and snippets of video footage online nowadays. Paul Sinclair etc etc. It's hard to tell what's really going on. There's a strong sense for me that the world is reaching a critical point in terms of this world and whatever it is that's beyond the veil. And what's true and what isn't. Good and Evil too.

I've had two experiences right in my bedroom. There was a portal opened during a meditation being played in my room. I woke up because they were staring at me both times. The first time, we scared the 💩 out of each other lol. The second time felt like it might have been intentional to check on his "lady who shows up in our realm" and as soon as I woke up, they turned around and ran and disappeared. If you want to hear about it, let me know. The first time was maybe 7 years ago and the last time maybe a year or two
