Note to the people who are angry on maeve going to america: They both love each other always but scared to admit it . at every moment they are realizing their love, they got interrupted by some other reason. They dont have many scenes together but every scene they are in is very important and shows that they are really in love. Maeve is not like others. She lives in a caravan, financially not stable, her mom and brother are never around, she is independent and career is very important for her. Even after her mom gave her the money she decided not to leave otis as the things are good with him. As she is trying to settle in anna's house- you can see the essay trophy and 5 year diary given by otis on the table ) she almost decided not to go to america until Aimee insisted her to go (aimee is her friend-mom by the way). At the end she explicitly said it is not good bye and it is "see you soon".

Maeve and Otis ladies and gentlemen, just them. They are each other's person, they are so deeply in love with each other, they get one another like no one can, their love is profound. I mean if you are invested in the show since season 1, there is simply no way you can't get it. It's their subtle looks, their body language, the immense unsaid tension, their little smirks, their shyness, the comfort they feel with each other no matter what happens. And after a loooot of waiting we got what we wanted so badly, their first kiss, which was phenomenal. The setting, the cinematography, the dialogue, the speaking tone, the detailed expressions, the tension, just all of it. From episode 6 and then I expected things to be handled differently and to have more screen time and explaining for motis but we did not get it. In season 4, I just want to see them in a relationship, just like a normal happy couple. Having to deal with commitment, the first period of awkwardness, having sex for the first time and seeing Maeve vulnerable and happy. I expect her to come back from America after 2 or 3 episodes and then I hope Laurie give us what we want. No other third persons and no more bad timing. After all it's them, it's always been them

Couldn't do it myself. And anyone who says that they could be next to each other and not with each other is only lying to themselves. That kind of pain will shake you to your core. Standing there next to that person that is supposed to be your soulmate and watching them give the smile that was meant for you to someone else, do you all know how much that really hurts? I could feel the emotion flowing through Maeve as she mustered up the courage to take Otis's sweater back to him. Otis could live his whole life looking and waiting for that moment to be joined with his true love and never have it. The story of Maeve and Otis is certainly one of the best romantic relationships ever, in my opinion. It is full of subtleties that make it fascinating, deep, ironic, intellectual and full of romantic and sexual tension. It is capable of giving the viewer the same emotions that a person feels in truly loving someone. True love, which is not based only on sex, but on gestures, on looks, on unspoken words, on teamwork, on quarrels and above all on the added value that one gives to the other: Maeve has involuntarily stimulated and voluntarily encouraged Otis to bring out his qualities, to make him be less shy, while Otis brought out the most sensitive part that Maeve hid under a breastplate and urged her to follow her dreams and her school attitude. But all of this happened, because each of them saw what the other really was and that no one else was able to see. Two seemingly different people, who have discovered that they are very alike. And who have learned to appreciate and love each other. Their slow-fire relationship, in my opinion, is beautiful, captivating and represents what true love is. However, at this point, their story should be more present in the series and should have a more linear evolution. Situations, dynamics, etc. The scene of their kiss, in season 3, is the most intense there has been in the current season. Unfortunately, their relationship is present only in a few scenes this season. During the second season, I had a disappointment about some tricks of the script, which in my opinion forced some situations to create a break in the relationship between Otis and Maeve and above all, I was disappointed that the couple was not present compared to the first season, in which the story of Otis & Maeve was central to the other stories and had dynamics that intersected with these. I can definitely say from personal experience, that a love like the one between Maeve and Otis, however slow and hindered by events, is not comparable to the other stories they have had: like those between Otis and Ola, between Otis and Ruby (a character UNRIVALED to Maeve), between Maeve and Jackson or between Maeve and Isaac (whose act of listening to and erasing Otis's message, after having known Maeve only a few days ago, undermined the entire certainty of this character) (Isaac is still not justified on my part: although he has known Maeve for a few days, he had no qualms in spying on her private life, listening to Otis's message and deleting it. They are the only people who truly understand one another and (for the most part) keep each other’s secrets because they care for one another. Im not even exaggerating when I say Otis and Maeve are my favourite tv couple. I know I have other ships in other fandoms I love but they seem to be more for entertainment. Where as Motis hits me in the feeling with loving both characters so much and the spark shines so much I start getting emotional with the confessions. I know they are young and people say young love doesn’t work but I don’t want to think this way about these two as the chemistry sparkles like nothing else I’ve seen before. You can see how much they love each other and will do anything even if timing is a issue. Even if you don’t think Maeve and Otis would grow up old together that’s fine but you can’t deny what they have at the moment is magical. Yes they aren’t the most entertaining tv characters but I love both of their personalities and when they come together it’s magic. Yes it’s taken us time to see it happened but at least it wasn’t rushed. Every time they are together that isn’t drama you can feel the chemistry and every rewatch I notice more little details that adds to the spark. Yes Otis might be more open about how he feels but that doesn’t mean Maeve doesn’t feel the same way. Otis is more verbal and Maeve is more physical.

Even though we got another cliffhanger ending once again atleast this time Otis and Maeve were on the same page finally, they were essentially a couple at the end of this season but its on pause as Maeve goes to the US for 2 months, but it means the show is saving their relationship as a couple for season 4. Im excited to finally see them together and hopefully we get some nice intimate scenes together 😊

That Heartbreaking ending to the season with Maeve leaving for America, in that scene too first Otis starts to tear up because he loves Maeve and she is leaving so he will miss her around him and slowly Maeve starts to get emotional and the tears starts to peak when she says No, No it’s see you soon , if you see Maeve’s eyes 👀 the tears says she is also going to miss Otis being around her and she loves him so much. Finally to the Emotional Hug between them , both really emotional that they are going to be distanced for a while . Otis and Maeve love each other so much and whoever says anything it’s clearly evident they both are so in love and are destined for each other ❤️🥺❣️

Oh my gosh, I love these two so much. Through everything they find a way back to each other. I hope Maeve going to America is the final challenge for this couple - so that they grow individually and then ultimately be the best versions of themselves to then be their best versions for each other. Asa and Emma smash this & the chemistry in their acting is uncanny. I enjoyed seeing Otis and Ruby together and loved seeing Ruby grow more as all relationships are meant for us to learn something, but I ultimately believe Maeve and Otis are soulmates. Hope we get more of them together in season 4 and if ends there, then I would be happy.

There should be a side by side difference between how Otis behaved with Ruby and Maeve this season and the fact that Otis loves Maeve cannot be more apparent. Otis simply can't love Ruby the way he does Maeve. Did they have chemistry, yes. Was Otis passionate about it? No. It's sad for Ruby but it is what it is. Unlike Isaac, Ruby took a chance and it failed, I'm glad Otis came clean to her quickly. I genuinely hope she finds someone who'll truly love her, Otis isn't that person.
