I love these tyoe of elevators by watching yourself move up and down. I been in two hotels that had elavetors like this one. One was a Hyatt Regency in Millwaukee, which had 18 floors, and a Marriot Madison West, which had 10 floors. The Hyatt had Westinghouse elevators, and the Marriott West had Northwestern Dover Elevators.

Andrew, have you had the opportunity to check out the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles? They are similar to these but there are 12 of them... 4 banks of 3 each... shooting up the outside of the bldg. The blue, yellow, & green banks serve 1-34 and the red bank goes all the way to 36. There are plaques in the lobby showing which ones had movie scenes filmed in them...

sadly in 1-30-19 they locked off the main ones except the ones that go up to the polaris right now 2 is the highest floor we can go because floor 2 is woodruff suites and hospitality suites 2 elevators go up to the polaris :(
