7:12 -- It's easier if you put the loop in the zip tie (loosely) BEFORE you wrap it around the regulator stub. Then just put it in place, pull it tight, and trim off the free end.

Zip tie from the other side port! Just emove the stopper.

So im a little confused, this was supposed to be budget friendly. But after buying the mask,400, 129 for ABV, 2nd stage. 150. your over 650 dollars. Buy the Ocean reef G FFM, it has 2nd stage, ABV already installed for 625, just connect your octo to the ocean reef and you good to go. No need to buy extra stuff with Ocean reef. Im not a sales person for Ocean reef, I work for EMS and on the SRT team and scuba dive for the agency. Ocean reef is the better deal.

I think the idea was that if you want there bare bones (just the mask) then at 399 you can simply use it with your own reg and that's where it's cheaper.
