Ott's Garage: Choosing A Jig Trailer

Lots of people ask how do you decide on which trailer to use on a jig? There are so many to choose from and they all have a time and place. This video should help you make a more educated decision next time out on the water! This is of course all my opinion and how I do it. Doesn’t mean that it’s the only way, just what I do!!!

As far as your swim jigs go . Have you considered using a 4-5 " single tail grub . I get more bites on it then any of the styles you do .

Only slightly. Trim them even with the barb on your hook and you’ll be good to go.

As usual. Great information from you Ott. I try to keep my trailer selection as simple as possible style and color. Can I make a suggestion for future videos when you going to show a bait selection either put your hand behind it so we can see the bait or wear a light-colored sweatshirt so that the bait doesn't blend into the dark sweatshirt. Other than that super video keep them coming!
