Otters are cute till they feel threatened. They will then attack as a gang. They have sharp claws.

I live by a beautiful river with a popular jogging running alongside it. There's a man-made floating wetlands and the Sengkang Riverside Park across the river on the other side. Some people used to fly their kites there, but not anymore. A group of cockatoos and pet bird owners sometimes meet at the reed ponds area, where the otters and dog played. Their birds are well trained and fly in pairs. In the future, I hope to get to know the bird owners and record something nice to share. Yes, I love animals, especially cats, though I don't own any.

Yes, I was so worried about this too. Otters attacked a man in Singapore whose injury needed multiple stitches.
