I have an ott light that my mom used before she passed. Its been taped but still works and out has great customer service. Mine is a standing lamp and is beside my couch where I do all my crochet. I would put one of these on my end table by my couch. Mine is over 10 years old ;)

Side table by couch where all the yarn action happens! I'm older so sometimes black yarn stitches are getting harder to visually seperate under current lighting conditions. Your lamp sounds like the ticket!

I live in an NYC studio apartment. Two windows blocked by another building. I've been wearing that light you put around your neck to crochet. The only problem is that you bend and it falls off you. Ottlite would be a game-changer for me!

Hi Jennifer! I LOVE those OTTLIGHT Lamps! I do most of my crocheting in the living room where I'm constantly turning on more lights so I can see my work! Especially this time of year when it gets dark so early. I would definitely use it on the table beside where I sit to crochet or even read. This "ageing" process is terrible on our poor eyes. We've strained them for years and now their saying "That's all I got, 'ole girl, adapt!" It seems like OTT LAMP is hearing our eyes!!LOL!! Hi, that new sanitizer ottlite, looks great. It would really help to see my cross stitch patterns, along with my crochet patterns on line on my phone. With the phone charger made into the base I don't have to worry about my phone's battery..

That is awesome .. I would love that near my couch for crochet work, and I'd bring it to my desk (same room) to work on my desktop PC. I do graphic art work and the afternoon will turn to night and I can't see what I am doing ...it does that when I get really involved hours pass before I know it..amazing with the USB charging port. I use my tablet to follow crochet patterns and need to put it away to charge.. This is really cool plus the sanitizer wow!! Can it be used on yarn ?? Or is that a fire hazard??
