Oh Otto this is amazing!!! A number of years ago, I found your family on Discovery and watching you sparked my desire to homestead. I retired last year and got rid of cable but found homesteading Chanels on KZbin . I bought 11/2 acres outside Milton, De and had a 700 sq ft cottage built and a small barn. We moved my furniture in last night and as I was sitting on my recliner, surrounded by boxes, I checked out KZbin AND THERE YOU WERE!!! I pretty much just watch YT these days. My favorites are My Self Reliance, Roots & Refuge, Justin Rhodes and Living Traditions. So looking forward to what you and your family have to offer 🤠

Otto, I discovered Eivan's KZbin channel recently and now I found yours. I am so excited! I have loved watching your family show us life on the homestead since the very first season. And you in particular stand out to me in an almost personal way. I think you and I are around the same age, and I met a friend in high school that I stayed in touch with over the years and we continued to camp. dirt bike, fish and do things, even though I had moved away to another state. Unfortunately, he passed away some years ago. But you not only look very similar to him, glasses and all, you also talk and joke around like him. You have even used some expressions that he used to use. His relatives also immigrated from the same area as your relatives and their last name was Krchmar. So, watching your show was almost like seeing my friend again. I've been hoping that the next season of your show would be announced soon so I could see all of my "friends" again. Now I have KZbin to watch. Glad to see you are all doing well up there.
