2 months is a long time for a truck they've dumped a few dozen thousand into. Idk the exact numbers but I think last I saw it was around 35k.

Here's my wishful thinking: low car this, get another ranger and fit it with off the shelf offroad parts and see how it fares against this. Obviously way different but it would be a good benchmark to see where a normal ranger would get you and why you go with all this custom stuff.

i get it you need to make it a bit farfetched for episode longevity/drama... but this platform, for this use and to be competitive its verging on futile... they are over modifying this truck, trying to cram all this stuff they need for the truck to really be viable, but... the truck/platform is way too small and limiting... shoulda bought an f150 or fullsized truck OR a an old bronco THEN bring it to this guy to be the consultant for the project... a ranger woulda been good for weekend warrior baja so-cal bro truck series. shoulda tried to find a totaled first gen raptor for this maybe(not hard to find)
