I’ve been around cars my whole life. This is one of the best looking paint jobs I’ve ever seen. Good for you, young man.

Then you haven't looked much. It's a decent job no doubt, but it's like a typical insurance job that gunman does.

Now that's how you restore a 67' looks amazing. Nice to see someone giving the classics what they deserve, unlike @Vtuned who you can watch take a perfectly restorable 67' and molest it into a go-cart build which likely will never be finished per usual. Keep up the great work on this classic build you and Don work great together.

My first car was a 67 Coupe i bought for $1200... A long, long, time ago. After i wrecked it in the snow into a tree, some bumper, hood and fender damage, i got some replacement parts and put it back together. My neighbor and friend, a painter, sprayed it midnight blue metallic. It was beautiful, looked medium blue in the day with sparkle and almost black at night. What a car it was, wish i kept it. Yours is gonna be sweet, i'm already jealous .

When I was a young man I liked old cars. It was the 80's and they were cheap. Cars by then were made to be economical boasting about 80 to 150 horsepower on a high output end. These cars were just beaters and we beatered around in old cars. We were just making them work. We didn't realize how iconic some those cars are. They we're old when we got them and we cobled them back together... they were just old cars. We didn't know how iconic they are back in those day, they were just old cars. We put them back together with Belle wire and Patch panels and raced them. If we hadn't pulled them out of the weeds in the 80s they probably wouldn't exist today

I've had this exact same job 6 months ago. It's a tough car to paint, especially when the front fenders are still on it. The bodylines and all the edges don't make it easier as well. A lot of places to have potential runners. You did great. A little bit of buffing and I'm sure it'll look perfect. Nice job!

I am shocked new filters weren't put in for the bosses car. They looked really worn. Working with Don will better improve your skills. Prep is always 99% of painting and car. Hence why Don was telling you to tape up theose door handle holes on the Sentra. The Mustang looks great. Cannot wait to see it all in the sun. Stay safe and be well.

You have put a lot of hard work big car to spray I see a top job sir I would be more than happy with that. Nothing a little buff won't fix about what you say.
@jamesofallthings368411 ай бұрын
I paint anywhere from 2 to 4 cars a day. I get at least a couple runs a week from rushing. The way I see it is I'd rather sand out a run than a panel full of orangepeel. Even if you're planning on cutting it back for a flat finish sanding orangepeel just sucks.
