I'm a fellow scientist and love, respect, and greatly appreciate what you have done and continue to do. It has been a dream of mine to do EXACTLY what you are doing... create my own breed, and also do my part in helping keep the game apbt alive. The philosophy of family protection and survival (hunting ability) is the same philosophy I share with you. APBTs are my first loves.. Then I fell in love with the Dogo Argentino and the Alano Español. The Presa Canario is a great dog too but it is too heavy for what I look for. The American Sentinel program you have created is as close to what I would want to create I just never would've considered using the Neopolitan, yet you have achieved almost the exact phenotype I envisioned for what I would want to create. I have watched all of your videos and I am a huge supporter (fan) of your vision. Also, awesome breed name! I hope to purchase an APBT and an American Sentinel puppy from you at some point. I trust they would be a great addition to my family and I believe they would provide the kind of protection that I would want. The combination of intelligent and responsible ownership along with their solid and stable temperament and nerves (via good genetic stock) is so important for societal safety. Keep up the great work. I hope to have the opportunity to speak to you soon.

Which lines were most commonly Brindle or Red dogs? My first apbt was ADBA registered, looked identical to pictures I've seen of Sorrels Joe Testament. I still need to get his actual ped but the parents were a 60lb Red male and a 40lb brindle female. Incredibly athletic, really strong gamey dogs . I gotta order his pedigree, I would love to have the same blood again. Edit: got pedigree/blood analysis done. Boudreax, B.Davis, Crenshaw and Loposay were the prominent lines. Vetzel was the breeder. Your dog Komodo reminds me alot of him, I may contact you for a puppy when my female passes away.

These dogs ARE REAL PIT BULLS. Forget about those dogs called bully or pit monsters weighing over 40 kg totally disproportionated that make the dog unable even to trot. Amazing dogs man!

@@osiris1054 40 Kg is about 88 pounds. I don't have any APBTs that are over 88#. Maybe someday we will have some purebred APBTs in that range, but as of yet, Ozian is correct about the 40 Kg comment. Something that large is most likely not a true APBT.

Really like black Betty solid head looks really athletic with a bit of thickness in the bone and not overly deep in the chest like some that can resemble whippets. Overall a well structured dog.

Deep chests can allow for more air and wind. Important for performance dogs don't forget that.

@@docbainl9504 deep or shallow...both can be faults. Too shallow suggests small lungs and limited respiration. Deep chested breeds are more prone to bloat, as seen in Great Danes, Grey Hounds, Dobermanns, and others with that phenotype. The ultimate objective is balance...with the only extreme being performance. We let performance drive the evolution of structure.

The American Sentinel is very similar to the APBT, except it is bigger, stronger, and more loyal (what I mean by that is APBTs are more accepting of strangers).

I've read that a female bandog has to be over 85lbs? I have a presa x apbt that is 83lb and very lean. I have heard from Lee that bigger is definitely not better, infact the opposite??

Why is it the general consensus that APBT's aren't good guard dogs at all when clearly that isn't true as Lee is the most experienced and knowledgeable thinks so differently. Also, bandogs were created to be fantastic guard dogs and they obviously contain APBT. Can someone please explain if there's any way to know which breed a bandog would take after or would it be a mixture? Hope that makes sense!
