I do have a cow to make cheese. I grow wheat for my biscuit dough. Milk from same cow. Garden for peas and carrots. My chicken coop has chickens ready to kill and cook. I make my own broth from carcass for cream of chicken soup with cream and butter from cow.

I would have used another pie crust on top! Once the pie crust thawed out it will fold right out the tin pan. I think that would have been better!!!

Pre shredded cheese has starch on it to prevent melting. Of the cheese is supposed to melt you should shred it yourself using a food processor.
