I saw the same thing with two half brothers. They were born a day apart and brought up together. I bought the younger one and he never settled. If he saw a grey horse he would always call to it. Then four years later I bought his brother. As I led him from the trailer he saw his brother in the field and he got away from me and jumped the gate still wearing his travelling boots. They squealed with delight and nuzzled together. Don't let anyone tell you animals don't remember or that they don't feel love, because they do..

They feel love. I gave away a kitten and kept his mom and brother. Months later he came back after traveling 20 miles through city and freeway. He was exhausted, his hair was matted and he was so dirty but he found his way home. Days later I contacted the new owner and she came back for him. A few years later he was killed by a car. What a sad event. I felt so guilty for sending him away after he made it home. I will never do that again!!.

The guy with the polar bear was so sweet. You can tell when he says he loves her, but his logical minds hedges his emotions when he says "It's just a really special bond. I love her a lot. I can't say she loves me. She really is bonded to me." But then his wife so confidently says "She loves him. She loves him. There's no doubt." You can see it in his eyes right there. The very thought that this beautiful animal could love him as much as he loves her means the world to this man, and that can only happen when you love someone else with all your heart.

Geese are the most bold animals out there. I live amongst thousands of them (Canadian Geese) and holy are they bold. They will go after my 80lb German Shepherd on leash!

I had a hummingbird visit me for about 3 years. Not sure why she picked me. She brought her babies to see me once and they all hovered in front of me for 10 seconds and she used to come in my house if I left the back door open. I never fed or tried to tame her but I did talk to her almost everyday. This video makes me miss my little homie.

@@SovereignStatesman well I guess that makes it even more amazing. Hippos are one of the or the most dangerous animals to humans. There will always be a threat interacting with a wild animal like that. You have to know what you are doing. I assume the women does as she lives right next to hippos. But even you have to admit that they share a special relationship. I saw ducks raised by a cat. Her natural hunter instincts never kicked in as she just gave birth to kittens right before discovering them. They saw each other as kin and I am sure the hippo feels the same about that lady. So I think the chance for the hippo to suddenly forget that and become for no reason aggresive towards her caregiver is very low here. But yeah, a threat is there. And objectively seen its more badass to hang around with hippos than with lions ;)

For those who do not know, that a goose can be very much like a guard dog! Many people who raise chickens will also put a baby goose in with the chickens, and that goose will defend those chickens with its life... A goose will fight off a fox any kind of bird of prey And will probably chase away any human being that comes near the chickens

I used to volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary. I got to take care of the Bears. I would bring food into their compound and dump it into their trough. There were seven bears, and 3 of them became good friends with me. It was awesome getting real bear hugs. I really miss those days

I’ve worked with horses, and I can tell you that it is 100% correct. The horse I worked with most (named Gambler) could detect my emotional state from a dozen yards away as I approached down the path each day. When I was happy, she would perk up and be super playful. When I was angry about something, she would be very hesitant and cautious (I generally would avoid working on these kinds of days though). The craziest one though, is that when I was sad, she would always stay very close, nudging and keeping an eye on me. Essentially doing the horse equivalent of a friend giving you a hug and telling you everything will be okay. Absolutely wonderful animals.

emma M I work with a black bear regularly, go in the cage with him, play with him, and I would say the reporter is more brave. When a wild animal like that is around you a lot they trust you, so you have no choice but to respect and trust them. They get used to you. They’re much more unpredictable when there’s strangers around, thus much more dangerous. It’s really easy to forget that they’re a dangerous powerful animal and let your guard down. The reporter has never seen the wild animals here before, has no reason to trust them, the animal is more unpredictable because they’re nervous. So I think the reporter is a little more brave in this situation.

Their suborder is Caniformia which is also called Canoidea (literally means "dog-like"). Members of this suborder typically have nonretractile claws and a long snout, giving them a somewhat "dog like" appearance. Other members of this suborder include racoons, skunks, badgers, weasels, otters, seals, sea lions, walruses, etc. While this diverse group of wildlife shares the same suborder as canines, they are not all in the Canidae Family. However, your comment shows that you have likely studied bears. That's awesome! The classic categories of taxonomy are: Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species. Spiny lizards snuggling and putting arms around each other, a sparrow repeatedly breaking up a fight between two doves, a young woodpecker who lost it's tail and couldn't fly studying the behavior of the thrashers and successfully learning their food gathering method, and thus survived and grew it's tail feathers back and flew away. In Hawaii I was followed by a puffer fish for 15 minutes around a reef, for no other reason than curiosity that I could tell, in the desert I sat down near a desert tortoise and after it realized I wasn't a threat came up to me and put it's front legs on my leg and was looking intently at me. This is a small sample of the things I have witnessed by spending a lot of time in nature. I would say that humans are dull and lacking in curiosity compared to many animals.

I helped fix a baby hawks broken wing and it has visited me every morning since to watch me as I have my coffee or tea on the balcony I leave seeds out and stuff like that in case it wants some it's now a beautiful full grown and we are absolutely best pals :3

I'm very close friends with a bobcat that I named Cici. I rescued her when she was a kitten and waited til she got older so that I could release her to the mountains. I took her to the vet, feed her food. Played with her. Also my Cat tiger played a role in raising her. Cici saw my cat as a mother figure since her mom abandoned her. Once Cici was old enough I released her in the mountains that is not far from where I live. She still visits me from time to time:) yes it's possible to be friends with a wildcat

A random raccoon broke into my shop just over a year ago. I am positive she had a bad experience with a large cyote pack that night because I had heard the largest cyote celebration ever. Molly as we named her, immediately fell in love with my girlfriend, my cat and mostly with me. We all shared so much love that it felt like a lifetime. At 6 weeks Molly went to a refuge where she still lives with her new family. She is now a momma

I take care of the raccoons that live in my neighborhood because We call ourselves human beings and all we have done is destroy every single natural habitat that these poor animals have ever known and then we have the audacity to call them pests and put out poison to kill them? I will ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY NOT anywhere near me Will this ever happen to any animal and that includes my raccoons who just instinctively No that they can come to me as they do every Spring and the females come right on up to the porch to the Fighting glass door very early in the season call me usually the beginning of March. They are usually now the full grown babies that I raised the previous year. When I say raised I mean that their mom's bring them to me on their first forage out because They instinctively know when hulinks have ill intentions and they also know when they are completely safe. Being an empath I give off a certain aura or energy that other humans respond to and feel and this is my purpose here. Strangers I have never met before and will never see again comment will stop me or I will know, intuitively, by certain physical feelings that come on within my body that are generally the feelings of another person and I am especially attuned to grief, And when I feel that I will go out of my way to Identify where that energy is coming from and because of the nature of my personality and that is that I am a chameleon that Knows that I need to meet each and every person that I come in contact with for this purpose at their level. I have been $2000 a plate dinners in a $5000 rented dress with CEOs of companies that I Hired to start up and the next day I will be unshowered, Dressed in sweatpants a ponytail no make up and be helping A personOn methadone mile. I judge no one because I am far from perfect. I know when people's intentions are good and I also knowImmediately, Instinctively andSometimes in greater detail than I wish I were able to pick up. Animals are very much like this as well and they can immediately sense danger and ill intention and they also can tell when they can attempt to trust a human. My life is so much better and richer And beautiful because of the animals. I am what is known as a physical impact so I take on the emotions and the physical Paying they have in their bodies and a lot of that is actually emotional trauma that I am feeling but it takes the place inside me as the feeling of what a heart attack would feel like I would imagine, comma knots in my chest stomach and throat and this all has to do with what they carry that I am able to sense and feel. I was built the way that I am Because that's my purpose here this time around. But you can't go around absorbing others energy constantly constantly and not being able to differentiate you're old and not knowing how to cleanse your energy and your spirit especially When an interaction with a human is particularly emotional, it's mine always are call my witch will leave me emotionally exhausted but always it's worth. And then I come home To my indoor animals and They're unconditional love brings me peace and allows me To transmit that negative energy into something that Is at least neutral, if it can't be turn positive and release it. The wild animals that I care for have a neither stronger healing effect on me because I am so aware of how lucky I am to be able to communicate with them without words and the day definitely respond and that they communicate with me without words and they know that Understand them, I love them and I will help them, I will take care of them, I love them and I will protect them. In return, they heal me and they have Also warned me of dangers around my property that I was unaware of in the forms of other larger animals who might not have been as receptive to me as the smaller ones are, and they Will if necessary, do what they must if they feel I need to be protected. Generally I don't because even the wild ones that others don't get near, The coyotes, and such Are come with me. Now I want to go walk amongst the lions and the big cats in Africa and unless they are extremely hungry that day and haven't been fed for a while I am absolutely sure That I could walk amongst them unharmed as long as I respect their boundaries and only attempt to Communicate directly with them if they come to me. There's a reason you're signed a death waiver when you go on a trip like this and if this is how I die, at least it will be doing something I love and I just pray That if that be it for me that They go for the jugular, make it quick and have a good meal out of me! ❤

I think what is most important is to have mature attitude and some knowledge about the animal. That doesn't mean young adults wouldn't be able to achieve this however. If enough dedication is present to have a mature attitude in the way to approach them and do their homework about the animal in particular, younger adults could also form bonds with wild animals. But they are wild animals, so you can't just expect any random person to have such positive results with bonding. I believe it really requires someone who is down to earth and knows exactly what he is doing. Animal instincts in general have a very strong sense if someone is feeling like they are in control of a given situation, or just messing around and pretending to be in control when they are not. One thing all these people in the video have in common is a strong self confidence in their relation with the animal, rather then just playing around and doing an "experiment".

honestly the story w most of these is just being their first and only sense of a mother/someone to imprint on. like it's pretty clear why predators/not friendly animals would be less likely to attack you if youve been their caregiver and acted as their mom since birth. i haven't even gotten to the goose part yet but I think a lot of people who have close relationships w geese or birds have jus raised them since they were young. when I got my first chicken it was a few weeks old and within two days of holding her and taking care of her she would scream the second I was out of sight

Wow. Seeing the Buffalo become so gentle in his human's house got me misty-eyed. Us humans are as much animals as they are; there are more similarities between us than differences. Respecting and navigating those differences, and truly learning an animal's unique language instead of anthropomorphizing them can open up some amazing doors in terms of friendship. I’m reminded of this one village I heard about. A wild hyena pack would come through often and were actually well behaved around the townspeople here, basically acting like a domestic dog and friendly and coming for pets and food. Soon as they leave the village (they were free roaming) they would act like hyenas again. To me this seems to show that they are not only smart, but can bond with humans nearly as well as domestic dogs. They have different needs, of course, that mean they are definitely wild and can’t be domestic and shouldn’t be forced to be, but in short periods, and at their own leisure, they can be. Anyway, the hyena part reminded me of that story.

“If you get a bird to be your friend, you have a friend for life” - when I was a kid, a pheasant adopted us. It was an adult, but suddenly we were part of his routine. He’d follow us around, especially my brother who was his special favourite, and every morning he’d tap on the patio bedroom door of my parents room to wake them up and let him into the house. We’d have had to put newspaper down the previous night so we could let him into the room with the tv, and then he’d watch tv for an hour. Then, off he’d go to do whatever it is that male pheasants do. He was a dear friend who stayed with us for several years until the neighbors shot him.

I have a blue fronted Amazon parrot that has gone everywhere with me since I hand reared him 15 years ago and no matter where I go people always stop me and ask me about Buster especially kids they love him. I fly him at my local park for an hour every morning and everyone who walk their dogs come and talk to me to ask about him. Animals can be great for shy people

I just watched a guy who hangs out with a 20foot croc that he rescued when it got injured. What's amazing about it is that the croc was already full grown and the only bond between them is the time that he took care of it when it needed help and they became the best of friends.

If it's the one I remember, the croc actually died sometime after the story was run. But, sad as that was, it's incredible when you realize that it never attacked or killed the guy. There was no tragic attack, drowning. etc. at the end of that story.
