I recognize some of Ms behaviors in myself as I have severe social anxiety and sometimes can’t get a word out at family gatherings and will cling to my spouse for comfort, but I swear to god I always greet people and smile no matter what it costs me mentally and just try to make people feel ok and that im not mad or upset with them. But I have always FELT that Monday is the first day, in my world. Seventh Day Adventists go to church on Saturday, so Colleen is technically right about Sunday being first. My brain just insists Monday is the first day.

I feel complete opposite about the soft or sharp days. MWF are sharp because they come in like a beast after a weekend, hump day is like a big deal because you know you’re halfway, and Friday is a party because it’s the end of the week. Those are sharp. TTH are softer because they’re just kind of meh. They just happen.

I work in the medical field and our schedules are separated by front half and back half front half staff is Sunday Monday Tuesday. So Sunday is the start of a week. Normal American payroll starts the work week on Sundays.

I 100% agree with Colleen on the days of the week. I’ve did research in college about how Christians changed the sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. So historically the calendar starts the week on a Sunday.
