Actually that is really possessive and unhealthy. I would suggest therapy to deal with the root issues of why you feel the need to control others
@EazyE_
@EazyE_ 8 ай бұрын
@@Goat.CheeseI think it’s different for males than it is for women. I don’t think he’s trying to control in anyway. I just think he wants to be/feel like the hero in her life. Which there is nothing wrong with that, it’s in male nature to wanna be the hero to somebody. It’s sad to think how if it was the other way around it’d be totally fine but because it’s coming from a male it’s automatically assumed that he’s possessive/unhealthy
@mridul7639

It's good that you share how you deal with issues and have patience, grace, faith and work through it. But I have to say that it's not a good thing for him to be jealous and he wasn't right in that situation. He was upset with you and now in the future you wouldn't pray with (maybe slowly even talk to) other guys, even though you did nothing wrong. This slowly changes/molds you and there becomes a sense of control from the other person. So I hope that he recognises that he wasn't right and needs to work on his jealousy, insecurity and give you the freedom and respect. I only have good intentions as I share this perspective.

In my experience if you're truly in love you wouldn't get jealous over something like that because you feel secure in the relationship and of eachother's feelings
@estradavalerie77
@estradavalerie77 4 жыл бұрын
The root of the problem is insecurity. Meaning we need to pray for them to see themselves in Gods eyes. That they will deepen their relationship with God so much that they will learn to love themselves in return bc they'll see themselves the way God sees them. Therefore making them confident and never in an insecure place.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but if you get insanely jealous because someone else prayed for your girl, in a public setting, you may have some personal issues do deal with. That level of jealousy isnt healthy. Not trying to diss, just being real. I cant imagine if she had a Male friend or something, how you'd react.

many Christians have a relationship with God but they do not get the deep healing they need. For instance, I ended a horrible controlling relationship, I have been receiving healing since then but I still have the pain sometimes, but I know when I feel that pain it is because God is bringing that up for me to get healing. I also have multiple personalities, many people do. And I know that some parts get brought up and I know that that part needs healing from it
@djvn229
@djvn229 4 жыл бұрын
Many people don't have multiple personalities. Many have fragments. Do you mean alternate personalities through traumas cuz same. Hope didn't sound rude. When this happens does it get worse if you think your acting immature which only makes you shut down more thinking your are being even more imature? never found someone to talk to about this! bless you. I pray Shalom upon you.
@hannahjoy4843
@hannahjoy4843 4 жыл бұрын
Djv N yes alternate personalities is basically the same as multiple personalities, I have just always called mine that. And yes many people think I am acting like a kid too much, or I am acting weird, but those are just some of my personalities... and definitely when I get comments like those by people I shut down and start to feel like an outcast because I dealt with many bullies in junior high who would call me names and I was always the weird girl. They would say that I was pretty but really weird. Honestly looks aren’t everything and I don’t look like my profile photo right now either. I did not know I had multiple personalities until about 8 months ago when I started going to church and Christian counselling from my wonderful pastors. I have always been the outsider in every situation because my different personalities would be up and act different. Sorry if this doesn’t make complete sense. I can definitely say that I can have one personality up and I will say something and then that personality will go away and then I won’t remember what I said. This is what happened In that toxic relationship, he would interrogate me and I would answer with one thing and then my multiple personalities would switch and then answer again with something else, not remembering what I said before that. He would always say I was lying or cheating on him but in reality my parts are switching places and I as in “Hannah” do not remember what my other parts said. Especially under pressure and when he yelled at me everyday causing more emotional trauma to me... And multiple personalities have names too, I didn’t name them, they are already named
@hannahjoy4843
@hannahjoy4843 4 жыл бұрын
And yes the multiple personalities are caused by trauma. Here’s an example, we are made whole but then a trauma happens and one part of us breaks off and leaves. And then another part breaks off due to more trauma. And that cycle of trauma continues, which isn’t good but it is the truth. They can be hidden so deep inside that you as a person, do not even know , but your multiple personalities do know and they know all the trauma that happened. They are there to take the pain away but also they are there because they have now put up a wall to not let anyone in or out due to the trauma, until they receive deep inner healing

This is going to take courage for me to write. I can relate to Kyle with this example. The enemy attacks me through jealousy and insecurity. I’ve overcome so much and I owe it to God. I learned in my own relationship that establishing boundaries is very important and knowing what you are comfortable with :) Said boundaries are unique in every relationship. My partner and I had to learn this the hard way and I totally forgive our naivety looking back. I was uncomfortable for something that he didn’t know would make me jealous, until we talked about it! I’ve always trusted him and he respected me to change behavior I wasn’t comfortable with since it did make me upset. But, for months after, I ended up bring up the same argument over and over to try and resolve my feelings. The conflict should have been resolved, but I didn’t know how to solve my insecurity that was there before my boyfriend came along. It was difficult because I kept becoming tempted to take out my emotions on my partner and myself and not let things go and of course that hurt him! I wasn’t trusting in God TO let go. I wanted to believe I could, but my unhealthy thought patterns felt too overpowering. So i went to therapy, and developed a closer relationship with Christ, and it took some time and patience to improve how I handle my emotions. But I have learned to let myself move on from my past hurt and sensitivities, and I am so much better at moving forward in my relationship! And it’s truly worth it to build a loving relationship that feels even stronger than the puppy love of when you first met ;) I am lucky to have such a trustworthy and honest man, too, and we always strive to respect each other’s feelings and have healthy communication - and to show forgiveness by moving on and choosing love!

Wow, knowing what it looks like to see your significant other struggle with the enemy is crazy. And so so valuable! (If you have tips for this and also how you figured out what helps you both then it's happening that would be a great topic!) Also, a lesson I took from this was adjusting your behavior for the people you love. It's not bad to accept prayer from a man, but because it was hurtful to Kyle it was right for you to act differently. Everyone has their own triggers and sensitive spots that might seem unimportant or irrational to others, but a person who loves you will understand your struggles and pain and do all they can to not use them against you.

Good luck to you both I hope you continue to grow and prosper in all ways and God loves y’all-He loves us all. It’s amazing to know that God loved us so much even as sinners that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to die for us, and that Jesus in all His love and mercy willingly suffered atrocities and humiliation and pain and much more to bleed and die for us,to save us from the enemy,from the flesh,from ourselves and our sin and the power of death.

I'm glad y'all are showing the good and the struggles of your relationship! The world likes to only show the relationships as sunshine and rainbows without the selflessness or conflict. I thank Jesus that he's teaching me through you guys :)

I know my self and best thing is for me not to talk the momen am mad or angry i will say i dont want to talk until im not mad. I just need time to calm down every time i have try to work it out mad is a disaster. Better take a break and then talk it over later.

You guys are awesome and full of Jesus. I Recently gave my heart fully to Christ after watching some videos from your channel Kian. I was teetering around it for a while. Thank you for being so open and honest on here! I want to mention my experience with emotions and how although we can’t depend on our emotions for clarity we have to be careful not to demonize them. Since they are a such a gift from God and a tool used by God to guide us and renew us here. Even strong ones and tough emotions like anger and sadness. They indicate our heart cares deeeeply about something. And also that we may need to release or grieve an old perspective/wound we’ve had for a long time that is not supportive of the new life getting ready to come in. Kind of how forest fires burns out all the old decaying trees to provide more nutrients for the forest floor to rebirth the new seeds. Or how rain and thunder storms help to keep the Earth in electrical balance and release built up energy in the atmosphere. God can use our emotions to keep us balanced and regularly renewed. You’re so right though when you said that the enemy can use them against us!! Since they are also intense, chaotic, and/or disorienting we are often in survival mode compared to feeling calm and at ease with Gods presence. So we are more likely to cling to fearful, angry, depressing thoughts because they suddenly make more sense than Gods broader perspective. Which then we act in alignment with our anger and not truth. Emotions are a gift but not a stable place to build truth on. Im trying to get into the habit of bringing all my emotions good and bad to Christ and laying them down. To ask to see through his eyes and ask for his strength to process them without getting blown away. He endured it and walked it out here so that we may all have a better chance at finding the way. God is so good. Much love to everyone on here!

I just wanted to say thank you. Gods using you for incredible things. This video came out right in the middle of attacks from the enemy in my God honoring relationship. It’s so crazy how much my boyfriend and I relate to everything you and Kyle said in this video. You’ve given us so many ideas to try and I can’t thank you enough. Satan has NO hold. (Also I highly recommend making another video addressing conflict!!! You both are SO wise!)

I found your channel today and I watched a lot of your video's already. Your video's are really encouraging and helpful, they openend up my eyes in a lot of different ways 💗 I've been feeling a little bit lost lately, like God wasn't there to listen and comfort me when I was struggling. But that wasn't true because God is and always will be there for me. I just felt like I had to live up to a high standard to be loved by God. I felt like I needed to be perfect, to be worthy of His love and grace. But I've come to learn that I can live my life, not just for God, but with God💕 Thank you so much for sharing your story on this channel. I really want to encourage you with this words: "She is clothed in strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future - Proverbs 31: 25"

Hey guys. Thanks for sharing. Would like to quickly react to the first example. Dont want to judge what it's like but due to what Kyle says about past relationships/ having been cheated on, comes to mind this all has probably not been handed over to the Lord. It's one thing to forgive but we need to lay everything at Jesus' feet otherwise we are carrying past burdens and are walking around with open wounds. Don't think it should be an issue, think it shows something is still there from those past experiences. Same thing with getting back in the right state od mind afterwards and needing time with God before you can flip the switch back: All about handing things over from what has happened. God bless
