Our Biggest Loc Regrets: Traditional Locs and Sisterlocks

My biggest regret in my first set of locs i bleach out my locs to dam mucn their was semi-freeforms so i decided to comb them out an start over now I'm fully freeform an no bleaching for me now my locs are growing healthy an full ❤

I'm on my 2nd set of locs. On my first set I used way too much oil. Now I know better. I also didn't need conditioner. I only use clarifying shampoo now. I think lint is inevitable unfortunately. As someone who has had both small and large locs at separate times, large is better, less work! I currently have microlocs and think of combining them every time I have to retighten them myself.

Yesss! I used to think I wanted them smaller, but now I am glad that I have my current size!

I regret combining 6 locs into 3 when I was in my third month of my loc journey. Those locs would have been fine.

My biggest regrets are not taking the time to make cleaner parts and even sections when I did my installation 2 years and 7 months ago, and also allowing bunching to go uncorrected with some of my locs at the back. Now I have some fat ends to deal with which I do not like. I'm thinking of taking this set down ( cutting them off because I interlock) and starting again. You girls have lovely locs and I like that you each have a different size. It makes your content more interesting🥰🌹
