I ❤my Cobra class 26. I sew all kinds of leather goods and it just has helped me immensely I don’t really have a business. It’s the best thing I’ve ever bought 2ND my snap press I modified it to do rivets to.

I use string size 207 it works great for knife sheath

Pro suggestion, Kill the backgroound music, 1. Hard to hear you & 2. Very distracting; if must have the music , make lower than your voice , we want to hear what you have to say, not listen to a music sound track ..

Hey, can you explain the sleeve you have on there? I know there has to be a reason

It's just a precaution against scratching the leather while sewing. Nothing too crazy.

@@hemlockandhyde This is a great idea. I noticed the cloth too and thought it was probably for protecting the leather. I got my machine yesterday - so I'm devouring every video so I can make as few mistakes as possible. Thanks.

Yall use the platform for it at all? I'm about to pull the trigger on one from Alden Leather Supply...the drop down guide is a must, but I'm curious about the platform

We got the platform initially but found that we didn't end up using it. We thought there would be more situations that needed the flat bed. If you're doing large flat panels it would likely come in handy. hope that helps

@@hemlockandhyde getting the cylinder arm for leather hat patches..just going to get the platform for the occasional wallet or something like that.
