i am very glad that i decided to read about her for my summer reading homework. my friend that Winston Churchill was A LOT better, i think he is ok but id rather read about Helen Keller instead! it just amazes me how much she accomplished in all her life.

Yes....I joined youtube in 2009. It was a lot different back then. It wasn't owned by google yet. None of the channels were monetized , so there wasn't a focus on making a profit on videos, like there often is now. People just made videos because they felt like it. Have a great day!

@@IamHelenKeller That's what it was like when I signed up in March 2006 (I just watched videos for about 6 1/2 years). It was kind of like Newgrounds at the time. I also liked that you could rate 1-5 stars back then (and there was a favorite places). There was also a kind of understanding back then that stuff was made for fun. I think the partner program began in 2009 but was invite only until 2013 or so. I think the worst thing Google did was expand the partner program to everybody and then scale it back, since it brought in all the ones doing it for the money, and now we see them doing ad reads for whoever's throwing money at them. It's kind of made KZbin like a video junkyard, where you gotta really look to find something great.

Thank you so much for creatiing this beautiful tribute to two phenomenal women. I read her book and am now reading her letters and those of Miss Sullivan. The miracle of this story is that fate put together a brilliantly creative teacher and a genius who was trapped in darkness and silence. Miss Keller's phenomenal intellectual capacity was exceeded only by her phenomenal compassion. Thank you especially for the last photo in your montage. It captures her light and her joy perfectly.

Two of the three most exalted Female Icons in my mind had the same first name- Anne Frank, the courageous martyr and spiritual giant, and Anne Sullivan - the worker of miracles. Helen Keller spent her life overcoming great obstacles to become one of the giant benefactors of humanity- Thank you for this wonderful tribute.
