I really needed to hear these messages. I’ve recently been hit with a realization of juggling priorities. I got married 5 years ago and I have 2 under 5 and an entrepreneur husband. For the past 7 years from courting to marriage, I put my development on a back burner to prioritise how we’re gonna put God first in our marriage, getting married, having babies, supporting husbands businesses raising toddlers etc…. This year I went back to school, started pursuing the projects God has put in My heart and the distraction battle has been REAL, I’m usually stuck between prioritising and feeling guilty for not showing up in other things…. I feel so confident about how to approach this war inside of me that has characterized this year for me after listening to this!!! Thank you ladies, God spoke to me through you today!!!

"The accumulative effects that distractions could have on the rest of the day/ week...etc." Jesus has to come first! Just had a situation that unfortunately went south because I was over committing myself. I didn't seek God about it, first. Be obedient and seek God's Kingdom first!

Soo loved this...I always say many distractions are a quiet assignment from hell, before you realize that you're completely distracted by what it is you've already been guided so far away from purpose, destiny, and the assignments of the LORD on your life.

God’s timing…. our..huh..thinking.. wrong thinking… our understanding, no matter what, and in mean what, is going on in our lives, the good, the bad, the ugly,,, the tragic.. God knows, He’s got us, He is in control of all the situations. But wow! To have friends such as these!!! I’m 66 now. Most of my friends, my family is with Jesus now. Things comes along that can turn our world upside down, and our lives are changed forever. I wish I could thank these wonderful, precious girls! To have a friend like Christen that would keep me in line!! Lisa Harper, what a joy she is and how she makes me laugh! Every single one of these lovey ladies blesses me beyond what my meager words can convey. God bless all♥️🙏🙏🙏

This resonated with me so much. After losing my mom to suicide in 2012 I enrolled in college full time, I’m a high school drop out so this was everything. I excelled and graduated with my BS 4 years later. However, I did not acknowledge my grief, school although it was something I felt called to, became a distraction from my grief. Two weeks after graduation I moved back to Los Angeles for graduate school and dropped out within a month. I crashed, this was in 2018. I felt like everything that God called me to do was a lie, I became filled with fear and the spirit of rejection. I’ve had job after job, some last a year or more but the whole time I said to myself “this isn’t for me.” I’m a substance abuse counselor so I work on the clinical side and although I love it I really got sidetracked by the lies that seemed to consume my life. I attempted grad school again in 2020, took one class and dropped again, furthering my fear of rejection, failure, etc. I look back many years later and see that this was the enemy and I’m so grateful I finally see this, I was so deceived so for so long. I’m happy to say that I start my MA program AGAIN on 3/1 on my pursuit to become a marriage and family therapist. I know 100% that God put this in my heart long before I picked up that first textbook. I’m so grateful for the reminder that I am exactly where God wants me to be 😭🙏🏻

I want to thank you ladies so much for showing me how distracted I have been. I love watching and listening to the word of God but I binge watch/listen so much to the point where it actually distracts me from doing what God has called me to do. I will still continue to watch/listen but I’ll also make time to do the works God has called me to do. Once again, thank you so much ladies and thank you Lord for allowing me to cross path with this message ❤️🙏🏽🔥

I’m listening to you ladies and I disagree with you when it comes to our children. They are NOT a distraction and our home is and should be our FIRST ministry. God has given them to us to rear them towards Christ. I’ve seen too many kids get lost to the world because parents are too busy in every and any ministry there is. I will ALWAYS make time for my daughter. She is God’s gift to me and it’s my job to minister into her, to teach her to love and honor God in every aspect of her life. And praise the Lord Almighty she is not your typical 17 yr old. I can be involved in ministries at my church but my family will always come first. They are a good good distraction.

That’s so good... after many years of struggling with distractions, these past 3 months my children and I went through the toughest moments of our life, and in the midst of that, I strived to stay focused, and learnt that the form of my distractions, began to look like beautiful blessings, which appeared to be coming from God. Yet, after a coup of similar distractions occurred, I realized that if those [good things happening] do not get me closer to God and His purpose for me in the present.... then they we’re doing the opposite.... keeping me from being effective and ready for what God has been preparing me for.
