Here is our Christmas tree hunting for 2023.
Every year we all get our winter clothes on head out to our property in search of the perfect Christmas tree. Now that Hailey has her own house we have to pick two trees out. This summer when I was picking apples I look to my right and there was a perfect Christmas tree. Normally it takes me a while because I’m pretty picky when it comes to Christmas trees. But when I saw this tree, I knew that it was going to be mine for this year. We only had to take a little bit off the bottom, but it fit perfectly in my dining room, but it was so tall I’m not able to put a star on it this year.

I live in philly pa and we haven’t had any snow other than some light flurries, but not enough to stick! It would be nice to get snow on Christmas Eve though 😊 ❄️ ⛄️

This reminds me of my childhood. Going tree hunting with my dad in the christmas tree lot. By the wild blueberry feild. Where you cut your own tree down. We always had a real tree growing up. We didnt have to hunt this hard for a tree. Nice to see the tree up.

We raised our kids in army life.Traditions were different depending on where we were,if we went home,or if dad was around or overseas.He has been retired over 20 now..Our traditions change because families change,deaths and births..marriages,kids grow up and have their own traditions.Im 60...your kids will all be on their own soon..Enjoy it..sit back wait on grandkids and start all over..it gets fun all over again.

She did say some of these were recently planted, so I’m guessing so. Especially since there are a lot of really big ones. They do naturally seed themselves from the male and female pinecones, although I’m not entirely sure how well they are at doing so or what the self seed rate is.
