It's so neat to hear now the kid's Japanese has changed over the years! They all sound native! It's fun to hear Joshua's Japanese because I think he was too little to do this challenge before 🤗 Great jobs, guys! ❤

Dear mom and dad, I am well aware that learning a new language as an adult is not an easy task at all. But here, you showed me how much effort you have put into learning the Japanese language which I know is one of the hardest languages in the world. Your children naturally grew up speaking both English and Japanese. What a gift they have been given!! All of you rock!!! 私は日本人ですが、海外で暮らしています。外国語を学ぶ事の大変さはわかっています。英語もなかなか手ごわい言語ですよ。
I’m learning Japanese myself with intent on becoming a translator in Australia for it and French. Love seeing the kids speak the local language. It’s basically their first language!

I know that the Reutter family is hard-working and willing to learn Japanese. Even though I do not speak English well, they make an effort to understand me and I appreciate that very much.😊 Thanks again for all your great videos!

What a great episode! What is also amazing to see between the older videos and this one how everyones Japanese keeps improving! You go guys! Happy Weekend!
I have been enjoying very much watching your family video. Your family care about each other and have warm heart each other, and I can feel it through your video. So, I think all of you helped each other to study Japanese to that great level. This videl inspires me to study English again. Thank you so much!
I'm so impressed with everyone's Japanese? Your kids are the sweetest! Do they ever get upset with each other?

this really helps me with studying the language! please make more of these, so fun to learn this way! 😍
I was born in Chile because my American dad worked as a civil engineer helping design highways there. But my family moved back to the US when I was four and I forgot all my Spanish. I learned it again it high school and majored in German in college. My son is half Polish, but doesn't live with me. I live in Berlin and he lives in Poland and we spend a few days together every month. I speak English to him and he speaks Polish to me. But he gets most of his English from KZbin videos. I really envy people who grow up bilingual or multilingual. I have learned many languages but will never be accent-free. It is great when parents encourage their kids to speak other languages.

I have noticed as my children study more and more Japanese with their father that I am more aware of how SLOW I speak it in comparison to them. Perseverance is today's word!
I think this great. Now I am a British citizen, who is also a naturalised German, that has lived in Germany for almost 50 years. And the number of foreigners living in Germany that speak very little German is unbelievable. And they don't seem to realise that they are missing out on so much.

Wow! Very impressive! You can tell everyone has worked so hard to study and learn!
Am beyond amazed by your Japanese skills, parents and kids! Really enjoyed that episode. Of course, for the children it's a more natural thing since they take part in the Japanese education system. However, the parents must be commended for the effort they are putting in learning the language as adults. It's great stuff. Subarashii and keep it on!
I live abroad as an immigrant. I am a mother of two who has been suffering from depression for about 10 years. I love and enjoy your family videos. Sometimes it gives me courage. And I'm encouraged. I pray from the southern sky for God's special blessings, blessings, healing and comfort🙏

It amazes me how all of you are speaking a second language so well like Japanese, which is by far my favorite language... even though I might know a few words and phrases within the language. Will I study it more? Heh...well... no. I will stick to the ones I might know how to say. By the way, that unicorn diamond art painting is pretty adorable, making me wonder what kit it's from because I do enjoy diamond painting all the way. I hope Sarah does more of them because once you start one, you won't be able to stop. Ha, trust me, I haven't stopped. Maybe the whole family will do diamond art painting since it's for all ages...well, maybe not for little - little - kids, but you probably get the idea of what I'm saying, and even though I hadn't watched the previous videos on your channel, these kinds of videos are my favorite. 😁
