I was also admiring that spectacular view of the mountains in your backyard and was trying to figure out if that was maybe The Grand Teton mountains of Wyoming or maybe Alaska? Aww thanks so much! Yes definitely, it needs a lot of work as well. It will probably be an even longer project! Yeah it's hard to leave, but we really want to get out of town and get more land so we can get more animals :D

Just subscribed to your channel and really love your house! Wow! We are planning to do some remodeling in our home and we are going with a modern farmhouse look. I really like how you did the floors with plywood and painted them! We have multiple rooms that need new flooring and I'm liking this idea. All the shiplap is super cool too!

Glad to have ya here! :) Yeah it was a cheap (at the time) way to get some pretty cool floors! Would be pretty expensive now with how lumber prices are!

@@WilsonHomestead oh man, my husband told me that recently, that stinks! What did you use for the shiplap? I really like it! I want to make a shiplap backsplash in our kitchen 😃 I thought about using pallet wood if we could find enough

Haha yeah it's a bummer, hopefully it will come back down to a reasonable price soon! Well some of the walls were still in good shape so we could keep the old shiplap. But the areas that needed new we just used plywood strips like on the floor. Yeah pallet wood would work great! It's a nice free option but just more work to get it how you want it. We might be using a whole lot of pallets on the next place for everything haha

Thank you! I actually am using an essential oil blend with band-aids to kill a couple of warts I have on my fingers, and I have to keep them on all the time. They are pretty much gone at this point, I'm just still using the oil blend a little longer to make good and sure haha
