Finally a Real farmhouse and so appropriate farmhouse decor. How refreshing....

This is probably the complete opposite of my personal decor style, but it’s absolutely sublime. It feels so clean and contemplative...it’s layered so nicely with the mix of materials that magically feel like they’re from the same designer or even era. You did an incredible job with this home! I really like all the ways you experimented with affordable materials like the drop cloth curtains you bleached and the table lamps that you painted to look like antique wood - that’s thinking creatively for sure! I hope you never lose your passion for finding a deal and DIYing, because you clearly have a knack for it! You should be really proud! I’m so energized to pick up another home DIY project now 💕

Your home is gorgeous! Yes to the blue and the rugs are so pretty! I have just "found" you and have subscribed and left you a thumbs up. I will probably binge watch all your videos and tutorials now. I love your style of house but I live in Miami, Florida where there are a lot of ranch houses which are one story only. We bought our house in 1968 when we got married for $14,500.00!!! It was a small 2/1 with a tiny kitchen and was 950 square feet. We have little by little gutted it and completely rebuilt the original house replacing all the plumbing, electricity, etc. and have doubled the size of the house to a 4/2 now. It is just under 2000 square feet now. Everything is practically new. We just put in hurricane proof windows and have redone our larger master bathroom. Now that we are older, I am glad we don't have stairs as my legs and knees could not climb them. The Lord knew that so he led us to the ranch. It's a nice old neighborhood where most people in our block have lived here for at least 20 years. I look forward to watching all your videos. Belated Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I read through a bunch of the coments on this old post and I don't think there are any fresh adjectives I can use to compliment you on your beautiful home. I love white farmhouse style but I'm really looking forward to your updates as you move more towards cottage core style. I live in an 1800's farmhouse tgat ended up becoming part of a very rural, teeny tiny town. I did a ton of repair and remodeling about twelve years ago. I am about to start in again. I'm aging, lol, and it's time to add central heat and ac. There is no ductwork so I'm trying to anticipate all that that will involve. So I get a do-over! The camera goes too fast. I'm trying to take something in and "Pooof!" it's gone ... and then the camera rests on the ceiling fan which is without any interest at all. But OTHERWISE ... FABULOUS work you've done and just please let us look at things, and the room in it's entirety, longer. This reminds me of girls who model and keep moving from side to side when they just need to stand still and relax. Then move, then stand still. It takes a minute for the eye to take everything in. Watch old movies and you'll die they are so slow. But things made now are too fast and make us anxious. Good luck.

Loved your house tour. I'm a retired homeschool mama and I have a bunch of farmhouse décor projects lined up to paint this summer. Started yesterday with a small one for my kitchen. I've also started spring cleaning as well, so took one huge sack of stuff off to the thrift store where I probably got the stuff in the first place. smile!

Haha, that is awesome about the thrift store! Yay, I always love meeting another homeschool mama.

@@SheHoldsDearly Took another sack today and brought home some baskets. smile! Finished painting a shelf over the kitchen sink, black and white. What kind of wax do you put over your paint?
